a genuine question to all the winter lovers, what do you guys actually like about winters?! wearing 3-4 layers of clothes?! constantly having a cold or cough?! gloomy weather all the time?! or am i missing something?!

I dropped my toddler off this morning, and the daycare director asked if her teachers had spoken to me about getting her started with speech therapy. I was like, excuse me???? APPARENTLY, this little girl DOESN’T SAY A SINGLE WORD AT DAYCARE. She just walks around growling at everybody 😭 I told them she’s just PLAYING with y’all. This child can sing, count to three, says “Go Chiefs” when we watch football, knows people’s names, and says hi, bye, kitty, ball, cheese, purple, water, shoes, socks, hey, no, what’s that, and even “oh sh!!t.”

Unpopular opinion: most people who don’t have kids never fully grow up. The reason is simple: you can’t be fully mature if there’s nobody in your life who truly matters more than you, someone you’d be brave for because your love for them transcends your survival instinct.
