I’d like to start applying to frontend conferences to talk about web accessibility. If you were going to a frontend conference what would you want to hear about?

When you see a post by someone on social media then two hours later when you want to show it to someone you can’t for the life of you find it ANYWHERE 😬

Design for Short Attention Spans Users often have short attention spans. Design interfaces that are quick to understand and easy to navigate. Highlight key information and make actions straightforward. A concise and focused UI keeps users engaged.

The Benefits of User Testing User testing is invaluable for refining your design. Testing your designs with real users provides insights that you can’t get from assumptions or analytics alone. It highlights usability issues, uncovers unexpected behaviors, and ensures that your design truly meets user needs.

My company bought some Braille Lego so I’ve been learning to decode it recently & now I can spot random mistakes irl
Today’s find: two buttons in an elevator. The one to close the door >|< is marked “öppna” (open) & the one to open the door <|> is marked “stäng” (close)

Happy Monday everyone! ✨ How about we start the week by doing something for accessibility? Let’s set up a reminder to add descriptions to images when shared in this space! All it takes is just a few easy steps: - Go to “Settings and privacy” - Choose “Accessibility, display, and languages” - Next, click “Accessibility” - Scroll down to “Media” and check off “Receive image description reminder”. Really, that’s all. Small steps, amazing impact. Have a great week!

My favourite talk from this year’s #id24 is How to consider non-native English speakers in UX. They talk about some really good things that also apply for cognitive accessibility and these things are so easy to overlook youtube.com/live/kraqhhFs3C8…

If I mute or block accounts/words it’s because I don’t want to see them on my timeline. At all. So why am I seeing muted/blocked things show up as retweets and in ads? This place sucks more and more every day 😤
