We are excited to announce that we have renewed our pitchside sponsorship at @OllertonTownCFC for a 4th season!
The club has been on a rollercoaster ride since they became the 1st club we visited for the blog in 2020, & we are delighted to continue to support them next season
A big thank you to @EmmaGroundGuide who have kindly continued their pitchside sponsorship for the 2025-2026 season.
Emma's Ground Guide is a non-league blog with a difference, ran by couple Emma and Max.
Be sure to check their page out but ignore their review of our ground! 😉

On Saturday we were at @ChesterfieldFC as The #Spireites took on @crewealexfc
What should have been a competitive top of the table clash turned out to be an absolute shambles

“I have never left a game early before and this wasn’t a decision I took lightly, but the players on the pitch didn’t deserve our support after that utter embarrassing display.”
Think that pretty much sums up Saturday’s horror show. Have a read and then put it to bed and get behind the youth team tomorrow night 💪

Every time people try to write off or malign One Day International Cricket, it shows us time & time again as to how brilliant it is.
Bring back these triangular ODI series on a regular basis with a calendar that has context & jeopardy to give us 3 great formats and support them
And to think people say ODI cricket is dead
What an unbelievable rollercoaster of a game!

We’re having a great day in Chesterfield
The game may have ended 5-1, but the 45 minutes we spent in the ground won’t ruin a brilliant day in the town
Blog summing up that performance will be out next week
Chesterfield 5-1 Crewe

We’ve never left a game early before, but we have also never seen a more embarrassing 45 minutes of football

We have arrived at a wet and windy SMH Stadium for today’s game between @ChesterfieldFC and @crewealexfc

We are looking forward to our 2nd #CreweAlex away game of the season as we make our first trip to Chesterfield this afternoon

A brilliant insight into a step 4 clubs finances including the difference playing mid week games has on attendances and therefore revenue

@NuneatonTFC
The September Treasurer's Update is out.
705 on our first home Saturday, 494 on a Tuesday night and what that gap is costing the Back to Nuneaton fund.
I also address the rumours of cut in the playing budget!

Anstey Nomads moving out of their ground and across to the other side of the A46
The move will mean neither Nomads or @AnsteyTownFC will play in the village of Anstey

We’ve a special game coming up that we’d like you all to join us.
This will be the 3rd game with our twinning town that we have participated in.
We travelled twice and now @fcemmendingen are coming to Newark for this fixture.

I don’t understand why more non league clubs don’t give Friday Night Football a go
If this game was played today at 3pm they would struggle to get 3 figures and yet last night a crowd of over 300 showed up for what will probably be Southwell’s biggest crowd of the season

What a brilliant achievement lads, well done to you all 🖤🤍

Post-match reaction from Jonny after last night’s win, as we keep our 9th clean sheet in the league from only 14 games!
@MarblesRadio with the Qs 🖤🤍
An amazing day for football where we saw a good away performance from The Nomads as they book their place in the final qualifying round
