Kinsittr also offers secured and moderated In-app messages between parents and caregivers after verifications has been completed and booking has been confirmed.
the UI is pretty basic however, the voting journey: discover candidates, verify phone number by OTP, cast vote and see live results.
i'm currently building a voting system that uses a local mock SMS service so I can test the full OTP flow without burning credits. Backend is built with Go + Gin, Postgres and Redis, it's mostly done and tested. What's left are the voting and admin UIs
so i built a chrome extension for sharing a moment as a direct link, it currently supports youtube alone because other streaming platforms do not expose a public API or support deep link timestamps in their URLs.
Your cover letters should be solid and tailored to the job description, burnished can help you achieve that

being a developer is crazy:
you’re constantly learning,
yet constantly feeling like you know nothing.
Hey @piggyvest I’m truly eyeing that backend role and the language requirement is golang 🥹 I’ve applied for the role so fingers crossed 😬
I’m not the best developer out there however I own my tasks, I always build with scalability in mind, I test boy do I test my code, I think about better ways of handling issues, I learn everyday and I’m constantly improving myself to be the best developer.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s a thoughtful and constructive take.
You’re right that gaming, especially console gaming, is still a luxury in Nigeria, and that reality is something we’re very aware of. Our approach with Mazerance has always been long-term, balancing local realities with a global vision for what games built by an African-led, Australia-based team can become.
While Nigeria is an important part of our community, the goal isn’t to limit the product to one market or platform, but to build something that can stand internationally while also inspiring more people locally to see game development as a viable path.
We’re learning, iterating, and growing with our community as we go, and feedback like this helps sharpen those decisions. Appreciate you sharing it.
Progress update on burnished -- planned to focus on the frontend but ended up tweaking both the backend and microservice. Everything’s now Dockerized and deployed live.
I've added some new features, here goes:
1. roast mode
2. cover letter generator
3. CV optimizer
The UI is still very meh but that's the next update to be made.
