Y'all are trying WAY too hard to find something wrong with SF6 just because all the other modern FGs are struggling. "His textures look unfinished" (they look like everyone else's) "His animations look like NRS animations" (no they absolutely do not)

Injustice 1 is the closest thing to American Kusoge that has ever existed. It reveled in its shittyness in a way that not many modern fighting games do. While games like MKX and Injustice 2 are much better competitively, there is nothing this memorable or funny in either.

The fact that you can ask a fighting game player "You ever see that stupid Injustice 1 clip?" and there are like 8 different clips people may think about is a prime example. No other game in the last 20 years truly has been this stupid. (and its great for that).

For a long time historically the 2nd biggest game (at times 1st) in the fgc was always a Marvel vs Capcom game and it's been interesting to see so many companies try to fill that spot in the last 10 years since MVCIs failure. Nobody has truly captured that same hype yet sadly.

People treat fighting games like a numbers game too much that it feels like no one plays by feel anymore. It’s always “how do i set up the safe jump” or “how can i set up a frame kill for plus frames” Not everything needs a set up. Learn how to improv instead.
