In 2022, Fintan was elected as the first person with Down syndrome to hold public office in Ireland. Fintan works hard to support people with disabilities. Fintan wants to help make laws that protect the rights of people with disabilities.

We worked alongside Human Rights Defenders to create a new tool for people with learning disabilities, autistic people & their families.
We hope it helps them to challenge the injustice of institutionalisation & realise the right to independent living.
