Here is my 2025 (and some of 2026 shhhh) showreel, since my current reel is actually two years old I thought it was about time to update it.
Any & all feedback on the reel is welcome.
Guy claims to be from Australia while using an AI generated person as his profile picture despite being from Nigeria. Awesome.

.@TeamYouTube my channel has been removed from YouTube for harassment. My content is strictly commentary and fair use critique of public internet figures, not harassment. I have submitted my appeal, but I was hoping to ensure a human looks at this. Thanks.
Here are some highlights from the video I edited about the collectible grading company PSA. While focusing on flow and how each scene leads into the next, I also focused on visual cohesion so nothing looks out of place.
Any & all feedback on the edit is appreciated!

if u hired video editors to save time but still spend 2 hours fixing every V1, u just gave urself another job
i used to do this all the time
i'd open V1, leave 20-30 comments, get the revision back n move on
then a week later i'd be typing the same feedback again
wrong music, weak first 30 seconds, random b-roll, mistakes they would've caught by watching the video before sending it
the video got better
the editor didn't
now when an editor makes a mistake that can happen again, that feedback goes back into how we edit every video after it
if the music feels wrong, i show them why + what would've fit better
if the opening is weak, we make the standard clear for every opening after it
if i catch something they should've caught themselves, it gets added to their check before sending V1
our editors check the assets, read the full script before editing, put extra attention into the first 30 seconds n watch the entire video themselves before i see it
so every revision does more than fix today's video
it makes tomorrow's V1 easier to review
after enough videos, editors start catching shit before i do, the same mistakes disappear n i spend less time reviewing work i already paid someone else to handle
that's what u want
if every new video still needs the same 30 comments from u, ur team didn't learn anything from the last one
Everyone is trying to minimise video costs and remove human input as much as possible, I am doing the complete opposite.
I'm slowly removing AI, increasing human input and increasing video production costs.
Why? Because i'm trying to grow a brand & build a better moat.
A lot of the people shilling Astra were never going to hire a creative to work on their project. Even if they were you鈥檇 be underpaid.

An AI that is supposed to understand "taste level decisions." I hope I'm not the only one who sees the inherent contradiction.

Replying to @TeamYouTube
@TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators My email that was associated with my YouTube channel (BC Productions, @bcproductionsvideos) of 218,000 subscribers was hacked. My YouTube channel got deleted and now doesn't exist. I don't know what to do please help.
If you鈥檙e unwilling to pay an acceptable rate for a good editor, script writer, thumbnail designer, etc, you should be learning those skills yourself.
Only when you don鈥檛 have the time to dedicate for those processes, or money to pay for those processes should you outsource.
Last year I saw a tweet from someone saying something along the lines of "If all you're doing is cutting clips and captions, AI will replace you."
Now in the big 26' this couldn't be further from the truth, most auto-cutting software sucks and most auto-captions are inaccurate.
Here's some highlights from the video I posted the intro from. Trying to get back into posting somewhat regularly.
Any & all feedback on the edit is welcome!
