The library worked its magic this week making Year 8 and 9 classes read, think and compete in the Hallowe’en quiz. What was in their potion? Spooky, literary questions, house points and googly eyeball prizes.

The 2026/27 Sixth Form Reading Partnership Tutors are trained and ready to work with P5 - 7 pupils in Kilcooley PS and Bangor Central Integrated PS. Thanks to our Year 14 RP veterans (Tallon, Thomas and Lili) who returned to inspire the new team with their experiences last year.

This @tinderboxNI production was ‘reimagined in a haunting, fragmented world of memory and cinema'. The staging and performance will be great inspiration for Drama Dept. exam preparation, critical coursework and our own performances.

Juhana's team (Elite Taekwondo NI) represented Ireland at the World Cup in Benidorm. We are delighted to hear they returned with a bronze medal in team sparring. ▶️

Year 13 pupils have launched into their Visitor Attractions Unit with gusto. This term they have had two trips as they learned how to run a world class visitor attraction like the Titanic Museum and The Giant’s Causeway. ▶️ tr.ee/CWTzEv

Last week we welcomed Hilary from the LMC who delivered a cookery demonstration to Year 11 Food and Nutrition and Hospitality classes.
The pupils were lucky enough to sample either the lamb chilli con carne or tikka mince poppadoms.
