I have just submitted my new manuscript for publication, 'The Casebook of Lord James Valiant: The Famous Blind Detective.' Dine at the Apollo Club, and solve a mystery in Victorian London. Watch out for his electro-magnetic cane!
Many folk on X/Twitter are artistes, musicians, and soloists. I don’t pretend to be a great flautist, but I wanted to share this beautiful flute extract from Debussy's Arabesque No. 1 with accompaniment. Slightly rushed as I had a few minutes left in a rehearsal room.
My Hardback Edition of 'Adventurers to the Rescue! The School Detectives of Greythorpe High' is now available to order from Waterstones. Baxter is a very clever sheepdog.
Cranefly each September visit my porch. Not sure why. Maybe warmth and shelter. Best conditions. They are majestic in flight indeed. But within the moss in the pavement cracks, it looks like cranefly larvae are around and moreso. Any suggestions to curtail this? Salt perhaps?
Olympic Games & Commonwealth Games Volunteer, and Great North Run (UK) competitor. Grateful thanks for all the support received 2012 to 2026. My pleasure to contribute to these Meets.
The Duchess of Duke Street 1976-1977. (Two Series). Surely a retrospective BAFTA Award should be considered for actress Gemma Jones. Originally aired on BBC 1, now on Talking Pictures TV. Unmissable.

Great North Run achieved in 2009 and again in 2026. My grateful thanks to so many Tynesiders and the people of South Shields who ushered me on with wonderful words, AND valued fruit pastilles and ice sticks.
These are my real-time pictures without AI. A lovely pre-Michaelmas Term walk from St. Cuthbert's Society in Durham, past St. Mary's College to the University of Durham A beautiful sunset heralding new beginnings.

The year is 1890. Talking cats, a Wizard and time travel for Victoria, the Friendly Ghost! Don't forget the pixie with his cup of tea.
My grateful thanks that the Hardback Edition of my most recent publication is available to order in the US, from the Harvard Bookstore.
