Nick isn't going anywhere unless they bring in a clone of him. Firing him now for any HC that's worth something would mean that they'd be giving up on Mannion too because any HC that's worth something will want his own guy in there, they're not dropping Mannion.

Everything else that he said I can see being interpreted how one chooses to interpret it. There's no mixed interpretation for saying what the fans think or feel doesn't matter. That alone was it for me. I can block out the rest, that was enough.

David from Drexel Hill needs to understand the message of a benching. No one wants to be embarrassed regardless of how much money they make. It's also a display of accountability. Bench his ass regardless of whether he gives the image of not caring.

I tried to defend the guy for the longest, saying to an open mic that the fans don't matter is a game changer though. Take the best offer out there for him the next time another team asks. Don't put it out there though, teams will ask about him organically.

Doug only called the plays after Steichen left and although under Doug our offense wasn't as bad as it has been recently it was still boring, unimaginative and stunk. Doug was almost as bad as Nick as an offensive mind.

Listening to that clip of Nick, he's doing exactly what he's paid to do and that's to distract us from Howie. Sadly, this is why is job is safe. There's no other reason that he wasn't fired years ago, this was the deal. He's not qualified to do anything else.

I'm telling you JJ, until Howie shakes his insecurities Nick is safe. Even if he is fired there will be no coach worth their salt that would take the HC job here knowing that Howie wants all of the power and decisions with the roster and coaches to be his.
