Jonathan Taylor doing a piece on his love of Wisconsin the week of the trade deadline
The University of Wisconsin has helped shape Jonathan Taylor into who he is today: “Back when I was doing visits in my senior year of high school, my parents and I were trying to make sure to find the right school that would give me the best chance to be as well-rounded a person as possible when I left. We drove up and down the East Coast looking at schools. There were lots of great programs with opportunities to get a good education, and I felt confident about all of them.
But when I made the trip to Madison, something just felt … different about that place.
I remember getting on campus, and I’m with my parents, and we saw Corey Clement.
I’m whispering in my dad’s ear like, ‘Yo … that guy right there … he’s the dude.’
Corey is a South Jersey legend.
He’s from Glassboro, about 30 minutes from where I grew up in Salem. When he was a senior in high school, I was in eighth grade. Whenever Clement was playing us, or close by, I’d head over to watch the game with some friends. Corey was breaking all sorts of records and just running all over teams.
There aren’t a lot of guys from my part of South Jersey who make it to a D-I program. So to see this guy, who was almost like a real life superhero to me, and then to see how he was talking about the program and the success he was having there, it was huge for me. Like just to be able to think, I could follow the same path as Corey freakin’ Clement.
I talked to him for a while. Then we toured the facility a bit and we made it to the ‘running back room.’ A place where the backs all meet to go over tape and discuss the next opponent.
On the wall, there are the names of every Badger back who had been an All-America, and the ones who had made it to the NFL. I just looked at it in awe. Some of the names on there just blew my mind.
Montee Ball.
Melvin Gordon.
Alan Ameche.
Ron Dayne.
That’s history.
They gotta be doing something right here.
Later in the day, we met with some other players and staff and they all just sort of had this way about them. Like, whatever was happening in Madison … it was special.
I went back to Salem thinking that I was going to miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime if I didn’t go to Wisconsin.
And I was right.
Going to Wisconsin was the opportunity of a lifetime. I met friends that I’ll have for the rest of my life. Learned lessons that will stick with me long after football is over. I discovered who I am, and even more importantly, who I want to be.” playerstribu.ne/JTaylor

Yall Rhyne sympathizers say this ain't Angel's team but no matter the win or lose she is out there talking to the reporters. WHERE TF IS YALL FRANCHISE PLAYER? Rhyne cowards off and dodges the smoke every time. The only time she comes out is SHE has a good scoring game.
Wow
🚨 UNDEFEATED MARYLAND FOOTBALL POWERHOUSE FORCED TO FORFEIT FOUR WINS — PLAYOFF BRACKET TURNED UPSIDE DOWN
Wise High School in Prince George’s County went undefeated on the football field this season. But just as the state playoffs begin, a student-athlete residency violation has cost the six-time state champions four victories and their No. 1 regional seed.
The Pumas’ official record has dropped from 8-0 to 4-4 despite never losing a game on the field.
▪️ FOUR WINS ERASED: Wise forfeited victories against Laurel (53-6), Flowers (25-22), Bowie (51-0) and DuVal (71-6).
▪️ TWO APPEALS DENIED: Athletic Director Jason Gordon said the school challenged the residency finding before both an infraction panel and the Maryland Public Secondary Schools Athletic Association. Neither appeal succeeded.
▪️ PLAYOFF SHAKEUP: Wise falls from first to fourth in the Class 4A South Region. Flowers takes the top seed, followed by Suitland and Parkdale.
▪️ OTHER SCHOOLS BENEFIT: Laurel and Bowie also improve their playoff positioning because of the forfeited games.
▪️ CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY: Wise has reached 11 state championship games since 2009, winning six titles.
The Pumas closed their regular season with a 77-0 victory over Northwestern, but their playoff path is now considerably harder.
The ruling raises an accountability question for school athletics: How can eligibility disputes be resolved earlier without disrupting an entire postseason?
Should four on-field victories be erased over a residency violation, even after the school appealed?

All 50 European model members now flip the polar vortex winds by Nov 14.
That's a record early warming, two weeks ahead of the old Nov 28 mark.
It's not an instant cold blast: we stay mild for now, and colder air is favored late Nov into early Dec.
Not a snow forecast,
❄️ But do you have Faith in the Flakes?

My understanding is the NFL learned about the previous 3 alleged incidents involving Packers RB Josh Jacobs at the same time media outlets did—with a FOIA request fulfilled. Obviously, if Jacobs wasn't honest with the NFL, adds another layer.
Either way, NFL is investigating.
The NFL "will review" the new allegations against Packers RB Josh Jacobs. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…
God please.
The Packers are making a very strong push for Jonathan Taylor, especially knowing the Vikings have him as their top target as well.
Green Bay is preparing to move on from Josh Jacobs in the near future, and Taylor would immediately jolt their offense.
Potential trade framework:
Green Bay: Taylor
Indianapolis: 2027 2nd + 2027 3rd + 2027 4th + 2028 3rd
