(1/3) "What was your biggest impact on the internet?" to make some money while i was unemployed i wrote tons of articles for pay-per-click websites ("content farms") but then i also "hired" through online services people to click links *to* those links for a little less
"What was your biggest impact on the internet?" This scene I changed at the last minute.

2/3 it worked strangely well, for months, my only problem was finding new people to pay to click those links (a hundred at a time!) in response i was banned from Amazon, and Google launched their Caffeine search update which killed content farms and reshaped the internet forever

3/3 haha just kidding, i don't think the Caffeine update was directly my fault but i like to think i played a small part in that initial momentum to push the internet into less of a Wild West of free-wheeling content and more into the three-corporation silo system we have now 🥳

In 49 states, it's just basketball.
Starting to think the Pacers may be the only fanbase comprised almost entirely of actual basketball fans and the other 29 fanbases are mostly mentally ill trolls.

ocarina of time is the greatest game of all time, and majora’s mask is not, but majora’s mask is a better game than ocarina of time. iykyk, i don’t make up the rules
On this day, 26 years ago, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask was released in North America! (October 26, 2000) After only a 15-month development cycle, Nintendo put out one of the most iconic games in the franchise. What memories do you have attached to this beloved title?

Dozens of replies from pro-AI folks who speak as though indie developers hadn't been making games without AI for *decades.* Genuinely weird stuff. I feel like I'm trying to communicate with alien creatures. Really left scratching my head.
Replying to @EricVBailey
So you want game development to take 15 years for them? You dont live in reality

After dozens of replies, I guess I have my answer as to why indie developers would use AI: They don't care about art, or expressing anything. Their only motive is profit. Nothing else matters to them. Got it. I suppose I was foolish to expect anything else. My bad, everybody!
It's legitimately hard for me to imagine/understand an indie game using AI art. Huge corporate game? Sure, corporations suck. But as an independent creator, you should be passionate about creating your art. Why would you want to be bad and dumb and lazy? Why would I buy it?

The only reason to have a multi-site church is to feed the lead pastor’s ego and desire for control. If your church is big enough to have another site, birth it and let it go its own way. Churches aren’t meant to be empires or corporate entities.
