Congratulations, Hamilton County transplants and the usual “we just want to make Indiana California but with the corn” crowd. You finally flipped a seat that Trump carried by 17 points two years ago and that Spartz won by nearly 20 last cycle.
You didn’t do it with some massive 20-point Democratic overperformance like the cope account claims. You did it by 3–4 points after years of suburban demographic change, record outside spending, and a Republican incumbent who spent more time lecturing about Ukraine than she did about the price of groceries, property taxes, and the open southern border.
Spartz was never a pure America First warrior. Ukrainian-born, frequently more interested in Kyiv’s problems than Indiana’s, and occasionally more interested in picking fights with her own side than closing the deal with voters who just want their kids’ schools to teach math instead of gender theory. That said, replacing her with a state senator whose defining achievement is being “historic” for the identity checklist is not exactly the flex y’all think it is.
America 1st doesn’t mean “lose every suburban district because the party preferred virtue-signaling and foreign aid packages over kitchen-table issues.” It means learning the lesson and running candidates who actually put Indiana and America 1st instead of treating the Midwest like a consolation prize while chasing coastal donor priorities.
Enjoy the victory lap. The same voters who flipped this seat will be the first ones screaming when the new guy’s party keeps pushing the same policies that made the cost of living feel like a second mortgage.
Hoosiers notice.

Pope Leo asked us to pray for the dead, "especially for those whom no one remembers," as he celebrates All Souls' Mass at Rome's Verano Cemetery today. Also: his Latin America trip is four days away.

Pope Leo XIV made his way across Rome on Monday to the Verano Cemetery, where he celebrated Mass for the Commemoration of All Souls’ Day.
In his homily, the Holy Father noted the connection with the Solemnity of All Saints, observed on November 1, which he described as giving “direction to our prayer.”
God’s “fatherly and steadfast hands hold them for eternity,” he continued, “so that they may fully enjoy that vital, mutual belonging which the Lord promises to His people.”

This could be good opportunity for a political analyst.
I pray he will help bring attention to the political persecution, prosecution, and punishment that my husband, a Marine Captain @Dark_Horse92 experienced and our family 🙏🏼
Our government was weaponized against American citizens and @Johnny_Joey will hopefully want to hear and share this perspective. 🙏🏼🇺🇸⚖️

RISE OF THE ANTI-LITURGY: saintdominicsmedia.com/the-r…
On Monday's show, I'll give my best argument for why Pope Leo XIV CAN vote in elections outside the Sovereign State he heads, but SHOULD NOT vote in elections in other sovereign countries. However, like my term 'demon gossip', it would help you to understand my term 'anti-liturgy'.

People thinking he means other religions while they can't take the pope's words as is. He hit a home run but people memed themselves into thinking the pope is wrong.
Faith can be embodied in all cultures, because it does not identify itself with any of them in a specific one. It dwells within them, shaping them from within according to the “form” of Jesus Christ; that is, through charity, service and the filial recognition of God’s fatherhood. In this way, the Church draws from the various cultures all that is good, beautiful and true, in order to embody and transmit the message of the Gospel. #GeneralAudience

Mr. Arroyo,
Pope Leo XIV does hold dual citizenship, US and Peru.
The Vatican City State? How is it that you don’t know it does not hold ordinary democratic elections in which its residents elect a government or head of state? Head of the Vatican City? Yes, “Habemus Papam!”

Around 50 parishioners from St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox, Illinois — including the Pope’s brother, John Joseph Prevost — concluded their pilgrimage in St. Peter’s Square on Wednesday, October 28.
Led by their parish priest, Augustinian Father Ray Flores, the pilgrimage followed in the footsteps of St. Augustine and took them to Pavia, Milan, Turin, Tolentino, Cascia, Florence, and San Gimignano.

David L. Gray reacts to The Spirit World with Debbie Georgianna and Fr. Mike Driscoll on why Catholics should stop praying deliverance prayers.
