Threatening to withhold compensation from veterans and families harmed by Camp Lejeune's contaminated water based on how North Carolina votes?
These families have suffered enough. Their care and compensation should never be political bargaining chips.

Trump basically wants all Americans to know that if Republicans win, everyone becomes healthy and wealthy and gets into heaven. And if Republicans lose, everyone gets sick, poor, dies horribly and goes to hell. And he wants you to know that he means it because he never lies.
Truth is - he can't speak to people anymore. He can only speak AT them.
He can't promise anything anymore, because his promises are never honored.
He can't say he never lies, because it's all he ever does.
His bloviations sound more forced now, and his tone reeks of desperation.
His myth has vaporized. He is a bad cartoon.
He is going to be humiliated. And while he'll never admit to humiliation, he WILL know it and feel it.

Good morning. The news cycle now can get overwhelming. When you're feeling anxiety, outrage, uncertainty, and unease - remember three things:
1. Trump 2.0 wants you to feel that. It's part of the Authoritarian Playbook. They think if you feel it enough, it can morph into apathy or futility. Don't let it!
2. Don't get addicted to your anxiety and outrage. You're a good person. The vast majority of people are, too - really. His anxiety is worse than yours - his numbers have gone from the toilet to the sewer. You can feel his misery - it's ok to revel in that if it helps.
3. Take care of yourself. Life is short. Walk in nature, breathe the air, listen to music, watch sports or comedy, talk to friends, pet your dog or cat or spouse.
A certain amount of anxiety and impatience is unavoidable as human nature. Do NOT let it overcome focus and perspective. I am inspired by what I see - as an American and as a behaviorist. Dems are unified, and there is clarity in the unity. Everybody is primed. We're ready to go.
Buckle up. Stay together. Focus and perspective. Noise is called noise because ... it's just noise.
We will do this - we have power. We ARE the People.

Alina Habba was an advisor to the Attorney General, was interim US Attorney in New Jersey, and all the while was negotiating a massive bribe to get a Venezuelan billionaire a pardon.
SCOOP: Julio Herrera Velutini, a Venezuelan billionaire, really wanted a pardon. He got it not long after his daughter hired Alina Habba, a lawyer close to Trump, in a deal worth more than $50 million. Habba was also working at DOJ at the time.

Both Musk and President Trump have expressed anger at Ukraine for attacking Russian diesel refineries in recent weeks, which the president blames for high energy prices. Last week, Musk capped the speeds at which Ukrainian hardware could stay connected to the satellite-based network, the people said, rendering some offensive drones and interceptor drones virtually useless.

First there was the Alina Habba story about her billionaire Turkish third husband sending a 17.6 million dollar check — which was issued by the Democratic Republic of the Congo rather than the billionaire third husband — to a defense contractor in Texas connected to Trump’s pal Richard Grenell who Trump made head of the Kennedy Center which included 5.6 million dollars that was to go to the Kennedy Center to get Trump to help the billionaire third husband with the business ventures he had secured in Venezuela from President Maduro who Trump kidnapped.
Then there’s the story of a Venezuelan billionaire who paid Habba 50 million dollars for 4 years of legal services as general counsel of a brand new company he created that has no apparent actual business in order to use her access to Trump to procure a pardon for felony bribery charges that low and behold got reduced down to a petty misdemeanor.
In a recent poll, the number one issue for most Americans wasn’t gas prices or inflation or immigration or trans athletes — it was government corruption. And there’s never in the history of the country been a period of more rampant government corruption than the past 21 months since Trump’s inauguration.

They can’t help but try and protect the absolute worst of humanity.
A federal judge just rejected an attempt by WWE, Vince McMahon and the current Education Secretary Linda McMahon, to stop a childhood sexual abuse lawsuit from moving forward.
That bares repeating.
The sitting Sec. of Education just tried to block a sexual abuse case from moving forward.
The case involves former teenage wrestling assistants who say they were sexually abused by WWE employees decades ago.
They argued that Maryland’s law allowing survivors to bring older claims was unconstitutional.
The judge thankfully, disagreed.
In spite of efforts made by members of this administration, these men will have an opportunity to pursue their claims in court.
