Asking pharma companies the same price for a new drug in The Netherlands than in Portugal is unfair, it must be country income based, explain ⁦@sjaakvink⁩ at the #POLITICOhealth summit 2019

Fantastic news that #Orkambi is now available for #cysticfibrosis patients in England! But no one should have to wait 4 years to access the drugs they need. The UK government must fight high drug prices but also the monopolies that allow Big Pharma to hold patients to ransom
Some wonderful news this morning: We’ve agreed a deal to provide Orkambi and other lifesaving Cystic Fibrosis drugs on the NHS. Huge thanks to the many campaigners who have worked so hard, and to Vertex & the NHS. #OrkambiNow england.nhs.uk/2019/10/nhs-e…

When I was diagnosed with ALS, I was told I had 6 months to live. That day, our daughters were 1 week and 2 years old. They are now 2 and 4 years old, and grow more amazing daily. As for me, well, I just did this—10x up and back. So I’m not only here, I plan to be for a while.

It's #WorldMSDay - and here is a reminder why it's so important to raise awareness. During MS Week last April, we took to the streets and asked people what they think MS is. Many people have a vague idea what MS is, but lots of them are a bit confused. Let's change that!
