The good doctor here is lying by omission and he knows better. You see, the Nazis had a two front policy for eugenics to create their desired “master race” of Aryans. For the desired Aryans, abortion was forbidden, not because it was a sin to God, but to preserve the Aryan race.

Actual historian of Nazi Germany here. The Nazis were explicitly anti-abortion, passed and enforced strict abortion criminalization, and opposed the broader feminist movement that preceded in Weimar. Very limited racialist exceptions. See Rabinbach and Gilman below.

Fun fact for Jaxon, which he may not be aware of: The fascists in Germany in the 1930s and 1940s were big fans of the eugenics movement in the US and named Margaret Sanger (the founder of Planned Parenthood) as being an influence on their racial policies.

I’m convinced that given a choice between a fascist candidate & a pro-choice candidate, too many fellow Latter-day Saints would readily embrace the fascist without hesitation due to misplaced commitments to “oppose murder.” The Church & the Lord doesn’t view abortion as murder.
