Proud of Milby student Margarita Reyes who took 1st place in the #couscous challenge at the Texas @ProStart competition with a beautiful vegetarian couscous risotto. Maggie cut her finger in the middle of competition but showed #resilience and finished strong with a PERFECT SCORE
April 28, was a memorable day for our students interested in careers in accounting and finance. @HISDCTE had the opportunity to engage with Tashiana Briggs, CPA and the Weaver team in challenges, an office tour, facilitated a networking activity, and awarded scholarships.
May 22 @HISDCTE hosted its annual Career & Military Signing Day, where more than 80 students were recognized as they committed to joining the armed forces or signed employment agreements with companies. This milestone event highlights the impact of preparing students for careers

In celebration of Texans Founders Day, the @HoustonTexans launched the Grow the Game initiative! 🏈 Austin High School was awarded a $20,000 grant to support their football program and reduce barriers for underserved teams. 🙌 Thank you for investing in our students!
