My upcoming pod this week tackles this very subject...consumers frustration with big telecom pricing and tips on what you actually need & don't. New pod drops Thursday.
Tomorrow, @rogers, will restrict viewing of three Canadian teams unless you pay them their devil's ransom of $12.99+ HST per month for Sportsnet+. Don't have regular Sportsnet through your cable? Then it's $34.99+ HST per month. Deregulate the telecoms now! This is rank thievery.
And $1000 tickets 😐
A decade at @RogersPlace deserves something special. Celebrate with $10 parking 🚙, $10 burgers 🍔 & $10 t-shirts 👕 at every #Oilers home game.

Day 89 of 365 of picking someone I follow and saying something nice about them.
@ExtraLars a razor-sharp comedian who’s crushed stages around the world and kept our troops laughing in the toughest places on earth. one of the good ones in comedy. Genuinely funny, genuinely kind, and somehow still underrated. Go see him if you get the chance.
I’ll be honest, I’m not a huge fan of the Kars for Kids band. Their one song is catchy but they just don’t seem enthusiastic about working together.
Dear @EdmontonOilers,
Could you bring this back please. I really wanted one.😊

Hey @Grok how many tweets does @DJHeerMusic have complaining about the Oilers and Officiating or Reffing?

McDavid has also set the record for most assists in the first 10 games of a season. Mario Lemieux had 21 in 1989/1990.
McDavid has 23.

Organization has the change something... right?
Simply dropping prices will tick off your current season ticket holders... but are they really going to let it sit this empty all year?
My sons are using my seats while I am away and they say this has been the norm since the home opener….
Have the Oilers finally out priced “the tier 2” fans?? (Said with a grain of salt, so relax!)
Reality finally hit this organization??

The Legion’s 2026 National Poppy Campaign is launching on October 24! And volunteers across the country are ramping up their efforts.
What can be expected for the 2026 Poppy Campaign? Traditional Poppy boxes will be available at thousands of locations around the country, as well at tap-enabled donation options. Canadians will also be able to donate online, as well as get their Poppies delivered directly to them via Amazon.
And don’t forget, the National Remembrance Day Ceremony will be held on November 11th, 2026. If you would like to find the Remembrance Day Ceremony happening in your community, use our Ceremony Locator tool, by visiting: legion.ca/remembrance/rememb…
I’m looking forward to watching the… oh, never mind.

Last year I was so sure McDavid was about to go supernova! Like… SO sure!
(I tried to bet on it and failed miserably)😆
I hope he gets to 180 this year.😊
