It is heartbreaking to see antisemitism in my hometown. I was born in Wyncote, near Philadelphia, and it makes me angry and ashamed to see hatred tolerated there. The numbers show this is not an abstract concern. The Anti-Defamation League recorded 465 antisemitic incidents across Pennsylvania in 2024, an 18% increase over 2023. It tracked 189 incidents in Philadelphia and 51 in Montgomery County. These reports include harassment, vandalism, and assault; they are not all classified as crimes. (adl.org, philadelphia.adl.org) Hateful expression harms more than its immediate target. In a 2025 survey of Jewish Americans, 79% said they were concerned about antisemitism, and 52% said they had worried about their personal safety because of their identity. Nearly half reported taking steps to increase their security. A research review also found that exposure to hate is associated with worse psychological well-being, more negative stereotypes, and less trust between groups. (philadelphia.adl.org, pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov) It takes me back to the racism I experienced in the 1960s: signs throughout the South declaring that Black people could be refused service, along with separate “white” and “colored” signs on bathrooms and drinking fountains,”no niggers”. I remember what that hatred looked and felt like. We cannot accept it in any form, directed at any people. I wish I could be there to stand with those protesting HATE. I am asking elected officials and other leaders in Philadelphia: Where are the clear statements condemning antisemitism? When hateful language is excused or repeated, it can make hostility seem acceptable and deepen fear and division. Leaders should speak plainly and consistently: antisemitism and hate have no place in our communities. What the hell? We have to speak up. Reggie Jackson The Mr. October Guy

Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries are popping the champagne as we speak. As is every Democrat up for election in two years.

When Republicans won they did not reach across the aisle, they kidnapped hardworking people off the streets and sent them to a concentration camp surrounded by alligators where they feed them maggot infested food and laughed about it.

Republicans can’t figure out the concept of population density. They all think that red on map = more Republicans. How do they win as often as they do when this is the level of intelligence we’re dealing with?
Rural conservatives in deep-blue states are effectively governed without consent. In New York, Republicans win most counties yet still lose statewide by 20 points because dense urban and suburban voters in New York City and its suburbs cast the decisive ballots and vote overwhelmingly Democratic. The result is that rural and upstate communities pay the taxes, live under the regulations, and absorb the costs set by politicians they consistently reject. Same story in California and Illinois. Population density has become a veto over the rest of the state.

You didn't like the old-guard, corrupt Trump? Vance, as I've stated several times before, will be much worse. He aims to represent the truly nationalist, racist, and anti-Semitic strand of the American right, one that puts even the best-known current European far-right politicians to shame. This is a dark time, and such rhetoric of hatred can have a powerful echo, especially when combined with declining living standards. The only saving grace is that Vance is extremely uncharismatic and unpopular.

Any Democrat who ever crossed paths with a person who said “Latinx” and didn’t banish them from the party, is irreversibly tainted by wokeness, and can never be President. Trump’s Secretary of State runs for President, this is great it means we’ve put Trump behind us.

Sanders-endorsed candidates outperformed 2024 Democratic shares by about 5-6%. Non-Sanders-endorsed candidates outperformed 2024 Democratic shares by about 14%. People voted against Trump. They very much did not vote for the DSA.
Ultimately, AES was... fine. A little sub-par, but not much. He ran a little behind the governor and AG but on par with the SOS. Not a generational talent, not a particularly weak candidate.

The sitting VP wants to “change our relationship to Israel” and says “relationship to Israel” explains the GOP bloodbath. It’s going to be an interesting 2 years.
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up. So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us." Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026. There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true. But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone. Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were: 1) End the war 2) Focus on cost of living/inflation 3) Put America First 4) Change our relationship to Israel Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.) In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you. The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night. If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest. But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there. I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.

No, we want to keep a few Republicans alive so we can force them to get sex operations and abortions.
Republicans had both chambers & could not legislate a basic voter ID mandate Meanwhile, Democrats will pass the Kill All Republicans Act Of 2029 without anyone dissenting

It's insane that we might get blue Mississippi, but not blue Montana or Florida. Candidate quality matters. The DSA stopped us from running up the score in the Senate. It's been ten years of their ratfucking. When will enough be enough?
MISSISSIPPI SENATE RACE STILL TOO CLOSE TO CALL Scott Colom (D): 462,821 (48.95%) Cindy Hyde-Smith (R): 462,778 (48.94%)

This intentional misunderstanding of Marie Kondo is purely because white people are weirdly aggressive about Asian women speaking with perceived authority on anything.

I knew a Jewish family that (decades ago) refused to celebrate Halloween because they thought it had anti-Semitic origins. It would never occur to them to prevent anyone else, even other Jews, from enjoying Halloween. When did we decide that we needed to curb our own harmless behavior out of “respect”?
Please remember that many of your Somali and true Muslim neighbors find Halloween to be an offensive pagan holiday and don’t participate at all. Halloween is haram. Tell your neighbors. Check your fatwas. 🇸🇴 🎃

My final pitch for voting for a Democratic Senator: Thomas is 78. Alito is 76. If we get to 51 Senators, it blocks them from resigning. Then they're in their 80s by 2030. Every Senator elected gives us a chance to save the nation. I don't care if you like them or not.
