The team's throwback falcon design is drawing comparisons to Nazi-era imagery, with social media users flooding the post with jokes, memes and AI-generated images.
Some online are calling it "the bird reich," while others are questioning why the 2-4 Falcons are focusing on their profile picture instead of their performance on the field.
But the design dates back to the team's early years in the 1960s, and this isn't the first time a Falcons profile picture has sparked these comparisons.
