The @FBI congratulates our partners at the North Macedonia Bureau of Public Security's Cybercrime Unit from the Ministry of Interior on the successful arrest of the OLVX criminal marketplace administrator. Active between 2023 and 2025, OLVX is alleged to have unlawfully sold victims’ personally identifiable information (“PII”) and login credentials via over 1,500 seller accounts. The existence of this marketplace directly endangered the digital security of thousands of American citizens who rely on the integrity of accounts they use. Twenty-five years later, the families of FBI employees who answered the call on September 11, 2001, continue to carry the weight of that day. And we are honored to remember their sacrifice: SA Paul H. Wilson. SA Laurie Fornier. SA William Robert Craig. SA Rex Aaron Stockham. SA Dennis Wagner. At the Flight 93 National Memorial, Director Patel, FBI leadership, and employees joined those families for a solemn gathering to reflect on their legacy that endures a quarter-century later. Coordinated by FBI Pittsburgh, this event was an opportunity to stand alongside the families, honor those we’ve lost, and reaffirm the sacrifice of our #FBI – and the lasting impacts on those who answered the call that day – will never be forgotten.

🚨 Our agents in the field have arrested another suspected co-conspirator of the ShinyHunters group – the group believed to be responsible for the recent FBIjobs.gov incident, which occurred on a platform managed by a third-party vendor. This is the latest arrest this FBI has made in a matter of days involving this network, as we work non-stop to dismantle the group, pursue new leads and evidence, and act quickly. This arrest demonstrates the strength and reach of our efforts to protect Americans from cybercrime. We will continue to work closely with our partners to disrupt what’s left of the ShinyHunters group and their associates, no matter where they operate.

A global credential-compromise campaign known as FortiBleed is actively targeting internet-facing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls and secure socket layer (SSL) virtual private network (VPN) gateways. Today, the @FBI and @SecretService issued a Joint Cybersecurity Advisory to warn organizations about this activity. Threat actors are exploiting reused or leaked credentials and legacy SHA-256 password storage, enabling threat actors to harvest and crack authentication at scale. More than 86,644 devices have been compromised across 194 countries, with some organizations locked out of systems. Ardit Kutleshi, a citizen of Kosovo, pleaded guilty to creating and operating Rydox, an online marketplace that put cybercriminal tools and sensitive data up for sale, including the stolen identities and logins of thousands of people. The FBI and its foreign partners shut the marketplace down, and now the man who created it and ran it will face justice. We were proud to be part of today’s ceremony at the Flight 93 National Memorial and to be joined by FBI Assistant Deputy Director Yarbrough as we honored those we lost on 9/11, reflected on the events of that day, and reaffirmed our commitment to protecting the American people. Our Joint Terrorism Task Force is at the forefront of that work, putting federal, state, and local law enforcement shoulder to shoulder to fight threats of terrorism and violent extremism before they can cause harm. We will never forget.
