Today, we met with our staff to discuss the transition to our new building! After 2½ years, this dream is finally becoming a reality! My heart is full of gratitude, and I feel truly humbled and honored to be part of this incredible journey. Go Hawks! 🦅 ❤️@Freeman_Hawks

Our outfits were silly today, but our message was serious: bullying is no laughing matter! Our Hawks showed up in mismatched clothes, and fun hairstyles to stand together for kindness. We also treated our teachers to an elote and churritos bar—a little thank-you for all they do!

Our Hawks finished Anti-Bullying Week strong! A week of kindness ended with a sweet treat for our staff—an apple bar from our Sunshine Committee! Thank you for making our teachers feel appreciated. Wishing all our Freeman families a happy Fall Break! Enjoy the rest & family time

We’re wild about kindness at Freeman! 🐾 Today we kicked off Anti-Bullying Week, and our awesome counselors showed kindness in action by treating our teachers to a coffee bar! ☕ Thank you for helping our Hawks feel supported and reminding us that kindness starts with each of us.

A little rain couldn’t stop our Freeman Book Fair & Family Picnic! ☔️🖤💛 We simply moved the fun inside! Our families enjoyed food, fellowship, and time together while listening to our wonderful high school mariachi performers. 🎶¡La banda de mariachi cantó maravillosamente! ❤️
Independent Kindergarten Math Stations are off and running! 🖤💛 Our little Hawks are describing shapes by their attributes, using ten frames to count on to 10, building numbers, and tracking their i-Ready lessons. Shoutout to our amazing teachers who go the extra mile every day!

🏆 Freeman Elementary is an i-Ready Super Stretch School! 🏆
Our students have been stretching, growing, learning, and pushing themselves to make this happen—and their hard work is showing! 📚💪🧠
Nothing warms my teacher’s heart more than seeing my students as adults. My heart smiled for the rest of the day.

Our Raíces Show was the perfect finishing touch to our Hispanic Heritage celebrations. ❤️ From stage and sound to costumes and choreography, it took a true team effort to create a moment our students will remember—and a space to celebrate their culture, pride, and raíces.
Such a special day at Freeman! ❤️ I loved seeing our students proudly share and celebrate the beauty of Hispanic culture. So much joy, pride, and Freeman family spirit filled the room! ¡Sentarse en la primera fila significa que tienes que bailar! 💃🏽🕺🏽😄🪩
