“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.” Just saw this on a wall and know how true it is. Here’s to looking forward as a community of committed individuals preparing for the future at @FDUWhatsNew!
Interesting day…last new year was spent transitioning myself into a new role as Provost, and 365 days later, I spent my new year updating my contact info and details to a new role. Excited to step into the president’s role at @FDUWhatsNew at a critical juncture in our history!
2022 has been a year full of lots of firsts, milestones and challenges. As we turn the corner on a new year, I am excited to see what lies ahead in a new role, with new opportunities and roads toward readying our path for a bright future! @FDUWhatsNew
An interesting, thought provoking article on the rebirth of Barnes&Noble, with some lessons to learn about how technology won’t outmode everything “legacy” and how we might learn from following our passions&beliefs when we make bets on our business models! tedgioia.substack.com/p/what…
We are so fortunate to have a legacy of serving adult learners at @FDUWhatsNew and are excited to think about reimagining the experience for a new generation!
“As more adults consider returning to school to advance their careers, finish what they started or gain new skills, we need to reimagine the higher education experience with adult learners in mind.”

“Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future.” We must keep looking ahead to be sure we are staying ahead! Excited to keep planning for the future.
This was a terrific exhibit, and a wonderful example of the talents of our School of the Arts students!
Congratulations to FDU student Kristin Martins for winning the 'Pets By the Sea' art contest! Her artwork was displayed at @APBoardwalk Wonder Bar. 🐶

“Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors.” An Ethiopian proverb and something to think about that I saw written on a wall as we travel this break. An important lesson to take heed of, reminding that every trial and challenge has a purpose toward making us stronger!
Very proud of the many different ways we support the diverse population of learners who enter our community of learning!
There are so many ways to support #FDU students and programs — like the Center for #DyslexiaStudies — to create access and to empower success. 📚📖

Hard to believe we are at the end of the road for the fall semester! Tomorrow, we wrap up for 2022, and begin planning for a 2023 filled with more twists, turns and exciting roads ahead!
A wonderful reminder of the successes of our @FDUWhatsNew alumni, and in particular, a former general chemistry student of mine who now assumes a role as pharmacy dean at @VCU School of Pharmacy!

So proud of all that we are building across our @FDUHealth programming to prepare the future of our healthcare workforce for the benefit of patients and populations everywhere!
In 2022, @FDUHealth's Physician Assistant Studies Program enrolled its inaugural class of 40 students.
