It is with a heavy heart that I express my condolences on the passing of Congresswoman Mia Love, a remarkable leader and a beacon of hope for many. Mia's commitment to her constituents and her unwavering dedication to conservative principles showcased the power of faith and service. As we reflect on her impactful life, let us find solace in the words of 2 Timothy 4:7: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Her legacy will continue to inspire us to uphold the values she championed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Congresswoman Love.
Today we remember the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
There has been progress, but there are still more challenges to overcome.

These are dark and scary times, but I have faith that “all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
I will be a force for change. I will be a force for good. Will you?

Like many of the men and women born into slavery, Frederick Douglass did not know his exact date of birth. The abolitionist leader and civil rights champion adopted February 14 as his birthday. #BlackHistoryMonth

Brigadier General Charles McGee, was honored during the the #SOTU.
McGee is one of the the trailblazing and honorable Tuskegee Airmen who are part of American history. We are fortunate that such men lived and served.
