I am truly honored to have been elected the next state senator for Senate District 8. Thank you for the support and for placing your trust in me. We can do hard things when we work together. Let's move Wisconsin #forward and let's get to work!

ALT I’m deeply honored to be elected as your next state senator. This victory belongs to all of us who believe in a stronger, more prosperous Wisconsin. To every volunteer and supporter – your dedication made this possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I know many of us feel mixed emotions after Tuesday’s results and are concerned about our country’s direction. I feel it too. I’ve heard from so many who see our win as a bright spot. We can do hard things when we work together. I’m ready to get to work in Madison! Together, we’ll defend our freedoms, support working families, protect natural resources, invest in education, and ensure our government truly represents YOU. Thank you, District 8, for your trust. Let’s get to work!

New report from @cubillinois found that if Peoples Gas continues its methane gas-pipe spending plan, it would need a series of rate hikes averaging nearly 7%/yr through 2040. (In effect, that would be 15 straight years of record rate hikes!) Read more at PeoplesGasBoondoggle.org.

CUB urges the ICC to hold Peoples Gas accountable. "The state of IL must begin to plan for a thoughtful, managed transition to cleaner, more affordable heat, instead of pouring billions more dollars into a methane gas system that is dirty, expensive & hazardous to the climate."
Chicago heating bills could double over the next 15 years if state regulators allow Peoples Gas to move forward with its long-maligned pipeline replacement program. trib.al/e3a0MO8
