Leas-Uachtarán Shinn Féin Michelle O’Neill remembers with pride Vice President of Sinn Féin, Máire Drumm, on her 50th anniversary.
"England remains the only state apart from Iran which has clergy, members of the state church, as of right in the legislature... The House of Lords now has 805 members, the biggest legislative chamber in the world outside China, which has many multiples of Britain’s population."
“Almost 30 years after Seán’s brutal murder, his family should never have been forced to defend their right to a public inquiry in the Supreme Court. The Irish govt must also press the British govt to deliver the inquiry the Brown family deserves.”

“I’m in London today standing alongside the family of Sean Brown as they continue their fight for truth & justice. Five judges have already made clear that a public inquiry is needed, yet the British government continues to fight it.” - John Finucane
"In July 1992 Orangemen shouted pro-UDA slogans and taunted local residents by holding up five fingers - one for each of the dead - while passing the murder scene." - Connla Young, The Irish News
“Tomorrow, the Brown family will face the British Supreme Court, still fighting for justice for their husband & father Sean, almost 30 years after his murder. The insulting treatment of Bridie & the Brown family has been nothing short of disgraceful."

“Contrast this...with DUP infighting and the desire within unionism's ranks to reopen old wounds. The pragmatists know that for unionism to prosper it ought to be confident and inclusive, but that innate tendency to look for Lundys instead of converts seems destined to win out.”
“Robinson may however look back on those moments, as well as Drumcree, & feel that the various self-inflicted blows, accompanied by Allister's onslaughts, have done much more damage to unionism than the best efforts of nationalism for quite some time.” -Noel Doran, The Irish News
“Seo é lá stairiúil, lá iontach, lá deas. Gaelscoil Eois i gCluain Eois agus Gaelscoil Lorgan anseo i nBaile na Lorgan.” - Sinn Féin TD Matt Carthy

Replying to @Ireland_Votes
Because of PR by STV method, parties with less than 10% nationally will find it challenging to get seats in proportion to their vote percentage, parties with 15% or higher will get a disproportionate share of seats.
My interpretation is that Independents will fare well in single constituencies where their personal following is strong. The national poll for independents is not reflecting individual strength in certain constituencies. So, SF, FG, and FF will achieve a share of seats greater than their national polling share, Aontu will achieve a share of less seats than their polling share. But based on this poll there is unlikely to be a coalition government led by FF, and shored up by independents. All is changed utterly.
"Michelle O’Neill is First Minister because the people put her there. The days of ‘No nationalist need apply’ are over; the North has changed for good." - Sinn Féin MP Chris Hazzard
Sinn Féin still leads all parties in latest Red C poll, as FF/FG combined sinks to all time low of 30%.
