Have a day @DylanHarcrow24 @FPCatsBaseball athlete that can play multiple positions, and obviously handles the barrel really well!

C Dylan Harcrow (@DylanHarcrow24, 2030) certainly doesn’t carry himself like an 8th grader hitting in the heart of the Wildcat lineup. Clean defensive actions in addition to a solid offensive approach with present lag and strength in the hands. #ALHS26

3B Cayden Noojin (2028) with a solid barrel pass thru the zone. Athletic and fluid offensive operation. Has shown well with the glove at the hot corner as well. Medium leg kick with an uphill plane. Wildcats lead 2-0, T5. #ALHS26

SS Ryker Shankles (@RykerShankles, 2026) leads off the Wildcat 5th with a loud swing going backside off the wall in RF. Toe-tap trigger into a simple and well-synced swing. Controlled but violence in the barrel with power to all fields. @CaccThe recruit. We head to the 6th, Wildcats still lead 2-0. #ALHS26

High School Playoffs. Chasing a high school state championship is special. Winning a high school state championship is historic for any high school player. The players go to school with each other for years in most cases. Some have known each other since they were toddlers. Parents know each other and it means something to the community. High school athletics bring people together and form a forever bond. High school athletics can't be replaced and are more important than most realize.

One major problem w/youth sports is the lack of reps a player gets if they are ONLY picking up a ball when coaches are around. Bring back backyard games & watch every aspect of the game get better. Skills, IQ, & competitiveness all improve while they are also having FUN 🚀!

HS Baseball Players ⚾️ Most players don’t fail because of talent. They fail because they let outside noise get louder than their standards. Parents. Coaches. Fans. Social media. Stat lines. All trying to tell you who you are. Here’s the truth👇 If you build your identity on opinions… you’ll crumble when they change. If you build it on standards… you’ll stay steady when everything around you isn’t. • 0-4? They doubt you. • Bad outing? They question you. • Slump? They label you. Good. Let them. The ones who make it don’t listen to the crowd. They don’t chase approval. They don’t ride emotions. They show up. They work. They stay locked in. You don’t rise to the noise. You fall to your standards. Block it out. Go to work 💯

"Hitters who hit more, hit more." I strongly disagree. Some of the hardest workers I've coached under-perform (compared to the work they put in) I was one of them. It's the mental side. - Anxious. - Nervous. - You care so much it works against you. I remember shaking in the box because I wanted to be so good. It wasn't fear of the competition. I just cared too much I didn't need more reps. I needed to train winning. I needed to focus on scoring runs. I needed to stop thinking about ME and start thinking about scoring runs for MY TEAM. When you shift your focus from yourself to YOUR TEAM, your energy transfers. That's when the swing you worked your butt off, shows up.
