When I was Muslim, Surah 5:32 was my favorite verse to quote.
“Whoever kills a soul, it is as if he killed all of mankind.”
I put it in every debate. Every conversation about Islam and peace. It felt like the most beautiful verse in the Quran.
Then I read it slowly.
The verse doesn’t say Allah revealed this to Muhammad. It says: “We decreed upon the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL…”
Wait. Decreed where? When? I went looking.
Bro, then I found it.
Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5. A rabbinic commentary on Cain and Abel, written down around 200 AD like four centuries before the Quran. Rabbis discussed why Genesis says Abel’s “bloods” (plural) cry out and concluded: whoever destroys one soul, it is as if he destroyed an entire world.
Insane that it was word for word, with the exact same context. Bro, the same Cain and Abel story it’s attached to in Surah 5.
What I thought was the most beautiful verse in the Quran turned out to be a rabbi’s classroom commentary...
Literally, that’s when the question changed for me. It went from “isn't this verse beautiful?” to: What the heck is a rabbinic homily doing inside a book that claims to be the eternal, uncreated speech of God?!
Because there are only two options. Either Allah quoted the rabbis. Or a man in Arabia heard Jewish teachers and repeated what they said...
The crazy part is, the Bible predicted men would do this. “I am against the prophets who steal my words from one another.” ( Jeremiah 23:30)
That was the start of my journey toward Christ. I stopped defending the borrowed word of the Quran.
I found the Living Word.

👉Last week in the markets: What moved prices?
1. AI stocks under pressure
Meta fell 7% despite 26% revenue growth, while Tesla lost 3% and the Nasdaq dropped 2.6% on Thursday. Investors are increasingly concerned about massive AI spending and whether these investments will generate real profits.
2. Oil surges above $116
Brent crude gained around 6% over the week as attacks in Saudi Arabia raised concerns about oil supplies. Higher energy prices could fuel inflation and keep interest rates elevated for longer.
3. Gold drops 4%
Gold fell below $4,000 per ounce, recording its worst week since June. High bond yields and inflation concerns made the precious metal less attractive despite market uncertainty.
4. France puts pressure on the euro
Growing government debt, political uncertainty and protests weakened investor confidence. French 10-year bond yields climbed above 5%, increasing borrowing costs and putting pressure on the euro.
👀What to watch this week?
Major interest rate decisions from the Fed, ECB and Bank of Japan, key US inflation and GDP data, and earnings from Microsoft, Alphabet and Amazon.
🍀Have a nice week, Rebels!

Before every single trade, ask yourself: “Would I risk $1M on this trade?” If the answer is no, then you should pass on the trade.
Not because it will not work out, but because you will not have the confidence to hold the trade and let it play out.

A Muslim woman stands in the middle of Times Square with a sign:
“I AM A MUSLIM WHO LOVES ISRAEL. ASK ME WHY.”
She recites Quran to prove it.
Then she drops truth bombs:
• Hamas put hostages in the “safe” tunnels — not their own civilians
• 41 hostages died in captivity
• Nothing in Islam justifies October 7
• 2 million Muslims live freely in Israel
• Arabs rejected the 1947 two-state plan
• Want to free Palestine? First free it from Hamas
The crowd starts listening.
Some even thank her.
This is what real courage looks like. 🇮🇱

📉 Stocks under pressure. What spooked Wall Street?
Markets had a tough last week. The Nasdaq lost around 4.5%, the S&P 500 nearly 2%, and the semiconductor sector more than 11%.
Investors are starting to question whether massive investments in AI will pay off. Higher US inflation, concerns about further interest rate hikes, and elevated oil prices have added to market uncertainty.
👀 What to watch this week?
Q3 earnings season is getting underway, with major companies like Meta and Tesla reporting their results. Combined with high US Treasury yields and tensions in the Middle East, disappointing earnings could trigger another wave of sell-offs.
Will markets fall further, or is a recovery ahead?
🍀Have a nice week Rebels!
