My cousin once wanted a ₦500k wig. She told her boyfriend, and he said he couldn’t spend that much on a wig because he had a project he was working on. Lol 😂 She didn’t argue, beg or try to convince him. She simply found a way to get the wig herself and posted pictures wearing it on her status.
Her caption was something along the lines of, “If he wanted to, he would.”
The man got so offended that he blocked her everywhere. Imagine being so bruised by the fact that another man could afford to give your girlfriend something you had already said you couldn’t afford.
And that’s the part I find pathetic. You are allowed to have financial priorities but you don’t get to dictate what another person can do for your woman. Your inability or unwillingness to buy something shouldn’t become a reason to resent her for receiving it elsewhere.

An unpopular hill I’m willing to die on is that Peter Obi not coming into power in 2023 was a blessing in disguise.
It would have been a shit show. Ahhhh! From external sabotage to internal betrayal, they would have frustrated his government at every turn.
We haven’t gotten rid of all of them, but we are making progress. We are more aware..
2023 needed to happen to get us here. Tinubu needed to be seen in his full nakedness.

Our youngest vomited in our bed at 3:30am. My wife and I calmly got up. I cleaned our child while my wife changed the bedding. Our child vomited again but we caught it in a mixing bowl.
We laughed a little together and remarked how there is no one else in the world with whom we’d rather clean up puke at 3:30am. An incredible team.
