Well, every day is a school day. Never knew Tim Robbins (Shawshank Redemption), appears in Top Gun (1986). 🎥🎬.

Christa Pike. Frankly WTF? 😳.

The village of Piddington in Oxfordshire has voted to "leave" the UK, after asylum seekers were due to be housed in nearby barracks. It's a purely symbolic vote.

Double whammy. Dolly Parton and Tim Curry. Both passing away.

I realise it's old news, but RIP Dolly Parton #countrymusicicon

Currently watching Apollo 13 🎥🎬💻🚀. Haven't seen it in ages.

RIP Bill Oddie #TheGoodies

Big congratulations to Spain 🇪🇦⚽🏆 for playing football and not mostly engaging in thuggery. Shame on Argentina 🇦🇷 after the final whistle. Your captain was the only one who showed some compassion for the winning team.

RIP Kevin Keegan ⚽

On the basis of the Argentina 🇦🇷 game v England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. I hope Spain 🇪🇦 kick the holy crap out of a cheating bunch of professional thugs who are able to kick a football as often as they are ALLOWED to kick/punch/rugby tackle their opponents and GET AWAY WITH IT! Corruption 🤬.

Tuchel, you don't win a World Cup semi final game by defending against an attacking team (after being 1-0 up), you start kicking arse. You absolute prat 🤬⚽🏆

RIP Bonnie Tyler #totaleclypseofthe heart

Such a heartfelt interview with Gary Numan on GMB today following the death of his brother while Gary was on tour, (I think) a year ago. His wife came on stage to comfort him, and his fans have been amazing #cars #arefriendselectric

Sky buys ITV and ITVX for £1.6BN. No change to any free to air programmes, Emmerdale, Corrie, sport etc.

Good to know that Lionel Ritchie is back on stage with his tour along with Earth Wind and Fire, after his recent health scare 💿🎼🎵🎶🎹👍.

A £5billion black hole to fill in Defence spending apparently 🤔.

Stop clobbering the unfortunate and those people who are not as well off as you #labourgovernment

Frankly, I can't believe that our 'caring Government' is decreasing the Motability scheme from (currently) 20,000 miles, plus 5 pence/mile over the limit, to 10,000 miles plus 25 pence/mile over the limit. WTF! 🤬.

God's speed to Lionel Ritchie after taking ill on stage during his current 26 date tour with Earth Wind and Fire. 77 years young and still going strong. Get well soon. Below is at the Hydro 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Glasgow, June 4th, 2025. Memorable. "All night Long" 🎼🎶🎵🎹.

Not surprised nor sorry to hear that Keir Starmer has resigned as our (so called PM). Such a boring undirectional Leader we have ever had. So many U-turns (the Winter fuel allowance for one, plus so many others). Good riddance.
