Iโm a little late to the party here, but it doesnโt hurt to try. Iโm directing our middle schoolโs first play this fall. Between me and some friends, we have managed to get some props. Itโs getting really expensive, so Iโm sharing our prop list to help us put on a great show. amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3Eโฆ

I made the best great northern beans. Used dried beans. Soaked them overnight. Added chopped up ham, garlic power, chopped onion, bone broth, thyme and black pepper. Will make cornbread to go with it.

She threw the โน20 back at me and angrily said, "We don't accept less than โน50."
Hearing this, I was quite surprised. I told her, "Look, helping someone depends entirely on a person's willingness and financial capacity. Some people give โน5, some โน10, some โน20, while others may give โน100 according to their means. But that doesn't mean you can force someone to give you a fixed amount."
Every person has their own financial situation and struggles. It's not necessary that someone offering help has plenty of money. They might be managing their own household with great difficulty, yet still choose to help someone out of humanity.
A single question came to my mind: If even people asking for alms start deciding that they must receive at least โน50, then how will an ordinary person help others according to their own wishes and financial capacity?
After all, helping someone is a matter of personal choice, not an obligation. Whatever someone gives should be accepted with respect and gratitude.
Now, you tell me, is it right for someone begging to say that they won't accept anything less than โน50? Doesn't a person have the right to help others according to their own wishes and financial capacity?

Yesterday morning, a woman came to my house asking for alms. Since it was early in the morning, I thought I should help her according to my capacity. So, out of humanity, I gave her โน20.
But as soon as she received the money, she said to me, "At least give me โน50."
I replied, "Sister, I only have โน20 in change right now. If you need something to eat instead of money, I can offer you food."
But as soon as she heard my response, the woman suddenly became angry and threw away the money I had given her ....1/2
