I really tried to think of an "objectively funny trauma" moment that happened to me. The only thing that came to mind was when my father thought it was funny to chase me around the house with a kitchen knife. When I made it to my room, cornered, him looking at me with the knife hidden behind his back. I climbed onto my bed, turned around and before I knew it he lunged toward me and I cried out. I sincerely thought that he done murked me. He pulled his hand away from my stomach to reveal he had turned the knife around, and had "stuck" me with the butt of the handle, not the blade end. I was crying, sobbing. As someone who is an expert on myself, I continue to fail at finding humor in it. But surely, one of you have. Right?

My sister and I used to fight a lot as kids. One day my dad took us on a camping trip, and as usual we started fighting over something. Eventually she got up and walked away, I assumed it was over. Turns out my dad left a gun in the car that she knew about.
