Definitely a bad move for the league. Some rotation players are going to lose minutes entirely, while others will end up with DNPs. If load management and injuries are the main concerns, just eliminate back-to-backs and trim the schedule down to 65 games.
Adam Silver reportedly likes the idea of cutting NBA games to 40 minutes, per @SIChrisMannix Good or bad for the league? (h/t @TheNBABase )

Biggest fantasy takeaways & surprises so far: 1) Luka is #1. He was my MVP candidate before the season and he's proving it. The real shocker is the FT%: shooting ~88% on 10 attempts per game. Even if that regresses to 82–83%, his massive scoring volume locks him in as a top-2 asset at worst. Props to anyone who grabbed him at #2 or #3. 2) Alperen Şengün is a legit 1st-rounder. I was skeptical taking him in the 2nd, not because of his skill set, but because I worried about Ime Udoka's rotation patterns and Fred VanVleet taking away assist opportunities. Instead, both his minutes and usage are up. There might be a slight drop down the line due to FT% variance and high turnovers, but his elite trajectory is clear. 3) Jabari Smith Jr. is floating near 2nd-round value. I expect some regression for sure, but I didn't see this level of output coming in such a deep team context. 4) Zion Williamson was completely overlooked. He’s currently top-5 in steals per game, even after having none in his last game. 5) Cam Boozer shooting 94% from the line. If I had foreseen this level of FT% efficiency, I would've jammed him at #5 in every single draft. 6) Caleb Wilson is over-delivering. We expected the defensive stats, but his overall impact is on another level. What surprises me most is him stepping up as the team's top scorer so far. #NBAFantasy #FantasyBasketball

Ended up deleting my tweet after getting way too many heated replies. If I were actually trying to ragebait, I would’ve happily leaned into it, but that wasn't the case. Anyway, lesson learned on what topics to avoid around here!

Coby White is back and Kon Knueppel is getting close to returning. Hopefully, having them back in the lineup creates a positive impact on the efficiency side for both Brandon Miller and Naz Reid.
Coby White (calf) not listed on injury report for Monday.

Had this take before the NBA season started. I was slightly skeptical about the FT%, but not anymore. Next year, Cam Boozer is stepping right into that Cooper Flagg spot at the back end of the 1st round.
Very early hot take: Cam Boozer will be a 2nd rounder next season assuming he stays healthy.

Interesting pivot for Thunder. Do they accept this as a lost season or is a massive upgrade on the way?
Shams: Thunder no longer signing Ochai Agbaji as franchise re-evaluates following Chet Holmgren injury.

Very small sample size, but here are the ONLY players currently averaging 20+ PTS, 5+ REB, 2+ 3PM, 1+ STL, and 1+ BLK: 📍Cade Cunningham 📍Brandon Miller 📍Caleb Wilson Elite start for the rookie.

In three weeks, I’m heading to the US for the very first time and there was no way I was leaving without catching an NBA game! I booked tickets for a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden and a Magic game at the Kia Center. I am genuinely hyped, especially for MSG!

2-way contract player olmasi aldatmasin. Herhangi bir adam denilen Jalen Slawson ligin en iyi kisa blokcularindan biri.
bugün en üzüldüğüm şey lebron’un normalde potayı kıracaklen artık herhangi bir adam tarafından bloklanması

This means Kon Knueppel is close to returning. I’m curious to see how Brandon Miller’s usage and efficiency will be affected once both Kon and Coby White are back in the lineup.
OFFICIAL: @hornets have assigned forward Kon Knueppel to the @greensboroswarm for today’s practice.

Tyrese Haliburton is set to miss at least two weeks and even the Pacers' backcourt depth is currently banged up. Andrew Nembhard is likely rostered in most formats, but if he happens to be sitting on your waiver wire, grab him immediately. For deep leagues, Quenton Jackson could be a pickup, but just be prepared for volatile, roller-coaster production. Jarace Walker could see a slight bump in assist potential, but I’m still hesitant to make the add. TL;DR: Outside of Nembhard, there isn't much immediate standard-league value here.
Other Pacers injury updates, per coach Carlisle: - TJ McConnell (hamstring) expected to miss around 1 more week. - Ben Sheppard (knee) will miss "months, not weeks."

Is it safe to say I am a big fan of Dylan Harper?
I have been drafting #FantasyBasketball since July. So far, I’ve joined 75 draft-only $5 leagues across various formats, including 12T H2H, 12T Roto and 24T H2H. On top of that, I am in 12 real-money redraft leagues with varying buy-ins, consisting of 7 Roto (one 9-cat and six 8-cat) and 5 H2H. This weekend, I have 5 confirmed auction drafts lined up (three H2H and two 9-cat Roto). The most competitive one will undoubtedly be the @industrypickup league which is packed with industry experts. Juggling all these drafts has made it tough to find time to create content lately. However, I plan to start publishing updates on my Substack as soon as these auction drafts are finalized. Stay tuned! #NBAFantasy

I was waiting for that notification to confirm who my most-drafted player actually was this season. Since I’ve already hidden all my draft-only leagues, tracking total shares across every format in one view was pretty tricky. I thought Dylan Harper had a solid shot at the top spot with 47 shares, but it turns out Ajay Mitchell takes the crown with 52!

Maintaining those defensive stats at that high level might be tough, but everything else looks completely legit. In fact, his game might actually be better suited for a #1 overall pick than Wemby's. I can definitely see myself drafting Cooper Flagg #1 overall at least once next season.

I’ve always wanted to be more active here, but personal commitments made it tough until now. Moving forward, I’ll have a bit more free time to post and engage with the #FantasyBasketball community. There are already plenty of fantastic analysts dropping daily recaps and watching live games, which can be tricky to match from Europe. That said, I'd love to know what unique content you'd find most useful. Last-minute start/bench decisions or something else? Drop your ideas below!

I think we have seen enough to revisit this. So far, it seems I was right on the Giddey call. However, Şengün has been fantastic and Fred VanVleet's presence hasn't hurt him at all. His early 1.8 SPG will probably settle somewhere between 1.0 and 1.5 SPG by the end of the season. I hope he can keep his 3PG above 1.0 and FT% above 75%. Even with a slight regression from his current pace, he looks locked in as a clear 2nd rounder or borderline 1st rounder.
I know I might be an outlier in the fantasy basketball community, but neither Giddey nor Sengun feels like a second-round pick to me. It's true that assists are hard to find late in drafts and these guys provide rebounds and some defensive stats on top of that.

That is a mad stat line. I love a bold take, so here’s a new one: Assuming he stays healthy, I can easily see Cooper Flagg being drafted ahead of Luka and SGA in some drafts next season. Honestly, it wouldn't even surprise me if someone takes a shot on him at #1 overall over Wemby and Jokic. He does everything on the floor with elite efficiency. He is about to turn 20 and still getting better day by day. Taking that swing with your top pick doesn't sound crazy to me at all.
Cooper Flagg vs Miami: 29 PTS 6 REB 11 AST 5 STL 2 BLK The first player in franchise history to reach those numbers in a game — he's only 19.
