'The Rings of Power' Season 3 co-showrunner Patrick McKay explains the binge-style release
"We have always thought about Lord of the Rings as a perennial, and that it's a movie or a series that potentially your whole family can watch.
Maybe it's a little scary for young ones this time, but we love the idea of having the whole thing out before the holidays, with the aspiration that maybe people will binge it together. We'll see. Fingers crossed."

Paapa Essiedu praises the new HBO's 'Harry Potter' kids trio cast:
"I’m so excited for the people to see the breadth of what these guys are bringing to this role because it’s just huge. It’s a huge weight and mantle that they’re putting upon themselves, and they’re just kids. They really are just kids.
But they’re phenomenal actors… really, really mature, hardworking, dedicated castmates.
I really just can’t wait to see what people think because I think they’re going to love it."

Charlie Vickers reacts to the "love triangle" label for 'The Rings of Power' Season 3
"They're going to regret saying that! I certainly didn't play it like that, but if some people choose to see whatever's on screen and call it a love triangle, they can if they want to,"

'The Rings of Power' co-showrunner Patrick McKay says after the five-year time jump only two pockets of Elven resistance are left, and the Elves' rings protect them.
"The five-year jump allowed the story to have scope, for the world to change. The war has been raging across Middle-earth, and now we’re at a tipping point. Sauron has conquered everything except for two pockets of Elven resistance that are defended by their rings.
This third season is where every single storyline becomes part of the large, epic war between Sauron and the Elves, and hopefully the show is deeper in its emotionality and the psychology of the characters."
