From 9 years ago, our Lord Of The Glen, unfancied and just testing the water, ran his socks off and pipped into 2nd by a gnats.
Super evening abd what a dude he was.
Heard the bookmakers cheer from 25 miles away!

Schoolboy stuff, but, if you are a central defender and are marking someone, don't just stand still and wave your arm in the air. If he was offside the officials and/or technology will pick it up. Always play to the whistle, particularly right in front of the goal 🙄
Impromptu visit for breakfast at the Rocking Horse Cafe in Rock and then on to the beach at High Newton/Embleton in Northumberland with the current Mrs N.
Splendid trip all round.
Today's live sporting action; North Sunderland v North Shields Athletic Reserves, Northern Alliance League, Seafield Park, Seahouses.
Cracking game, 3-3, excellent set up, decent standard too.
@ath_res @NorthSunderland
Another woeful, but unsurprisingly expected, attempt at the RacingTV Wednesday Kempton tipping competition.
Good job on commentary at Gosforth Park Mr C, if a bit of a surprise to us. Keep up the good work. All the best.
@MikeCrolla
Just before the last fence at Cheltenham today.
Who's the idiot scrambling along the ground in the bottom of the shot? Several questions need to be asked?

Superb effort from Uncle Al and team at Fontwell Park. We'll done all.
@jessbediracing
@fatpunter is a non-runner at Sedgefield today. Self-Cert (man flu) no Tatts Rule 4 deduction necessary.
Taking nothing away from new flat Champion Jockey Billy Loughnane, who received his trophy at Ascot today, but the season has another month to go!
It's like the Premier League just ignoring the last half dozen games as far as points are concerned.
I just don't get the logic.
From 13 years ago. Taken during the Cesarewitch on the Rowley Mile at Newmarket, watching on a screen within the parade ring. For this 2¼ mile race they go 2¼ miles away, literally to another county. Fantastic facilities but quite poor for viewing. Our lad finished 7th.
At the time I worked for the National Trust at Washington Old Hall. The low ceilings gave fantastic acoustics, however...
The "lost lino" pose, while leaning on my knobkerrie. By heck though, it's been a bit fresh at High Yarridge today.
I trust that your weekend is going agreeable 😊👍🏻
