So, I'm playing Old Skies, and in this scene in the World Trade Center, the scene pans over to a woman, and I gasped, "Dear GOD, is that Imani?" Shoutout to @ben_304 for making a character that doesn't look much like I last saw her recognizable to me. That is a sign of good art.

Hey @straczynski, one of the best shots in Severed Dreams is when Delenn's flyer goes into the jumpgate, and then the camera pans over to a piece of empty space, where a jump point opens and the Churchill comes through. But that is a totally CGI scene.

My question is: is that in the script, or does the director decide what the CGI scenes will look like, or is that completely decided in post?

Not that anyone can hear me, but... When Jesus said that if you are compelled to go a mile, go two - does that sound like if the law forces you do do something (like pay taxes), you pay it and give more?

This man knows how to eat pudding. I prefer butterscotch, but make and eat it the same way.
Jell-O cook-and-serve chocolate pudding, eaten fresh from the pot while it's still pretty hot. Trust me on this.

On the topic of banned books in high school libraries (and reaching out into public libraries), and statements from some that this is simply not happening...a very good and useful video. youtube.com/watch?v=RVcqabQz…

Just finished Together We Will Go By @straczynski. Well written, but intense subject matter. I don't think I can recommend this to anyone I know. I cried when the cat died.

Of the characters who were in the title credits of Babylon 5, the following were dead by the time of the final episode. Jeffrey Sinclair (centuries before) Talia Winters Ko D'ath G'Kar Londo John Sheridan (dies that episode) Warren Keffer Marcus Cole Lyta Alexander

Something switched my setting from "following" to "for you". That explains why there was suddenly so much garbage on my screen.

Question for @straczynski (who will probably ignore): how do you give the impression of a place with a quarter million people in it? Babylon 5 always felt like a town of about 10,000 with a few hundred station staff. DS9 always seemed like it topped out at about a thousand.

Nah, the Hostess Dongs are for the Centauri market, and they come in a package of six.
Picked up a box of Hostess Ding-Dongs today for the very first time in a very long while, and given how they are now SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than they once were, I move that they change the name to Hostess Dings. (I'd suggest Hostess Dongs but that sounds rather dubious.)

Yeah! I bet you were not expecting that part when you read it.
Especially the part where I die in the end.

Hey, @straczynski, In the "Absent Friends, In Memory still bright section", you included Tim Choate, but not Rance Howard?

Ah. So you mean that you want him to play J. Michael Straczynski in the biopic.
The question to which I answered Vincent Price did not specify B5, just which actor from the past would I like to work with? Again, as the guy who hired the current actors, I don't feel it would be appropriate to say who I think could have played those roles as well or better.

I was able to recognize Jeffrey Sinclair from the voice. That is good voice casting.
And while I'm pointing you to THE GLASS BOX, I'm happy to fire over an exclusive IGN clip from B5: THE ROAD HOME in preparation for the release next week. This is where the action really starts to kick in. youtube.com/watch?v=qMNYA_1h…

Actually, while you're up, how about some more on Sheridan and Delenn's son?
Would you like fries with that?

How much time do I have? Definitely enough to watch this movie.

I was so excited when I saw David Sheridan listed among the characters in the #B5AnimatedMovie, but after watching the trailer, I realize that it's probably John's dad, instead of John and Delenn's son, like I was hoping.

Babylon 5 combined the ideas of "The show is a place to tell stories", and "the show IS the story". If B5 were made today, people would get mad about episodes like "Confessions And Lamentations" and "Passing Through Gethsemane" because they don't forward the overstory.
