Crazy how much parents really try to get H.S head coaches fired for no reason at all. Especially when the coach goes the 10 extra miles for the players. God dont like ugly!!! true stoey

Somewhere along the way, every coach has to decide:
Am I running this scheme because itโs best for our players, or because I want to prove I can make it work?
That can be an uncomfortable question, especially when you already know the answer!

He couldโve said something about it being unfortunate but he wasnโt wrong on the next level offense and defense barely be together. Everyone separated and have a job to do.

Kirby Smart asked about SEC carnage this season
"Everybody is practicing less, but everyone is getting injured more, it doesn't make sense."
"(Players) were definitely hungrier (in the past)."
"A lot of these guys, honestly, make more than I made until I was 40."

Football is ultimately a game of talent. Scheme matters. Play calling matters. Great coaching and creative play designs can give you an edge. But when the lights come on, it still comes down to players making plays. The team with the better players usually wins. Talent matters. Period.

Do your job. Nobody forced you to take it. Head coach, do your job. Assistant, do your job. Athletes, do your job. If someone isnโt doing their job, either show them how or find someone who will. Itโs not rude to expect people to do their job. Itโs a sign of weakness to never ask them to.

The best Coaches in the country are taking a 2-8 roster and going 5-5 or 6-4, and no one is giving them the recognition for it!
Just know that others and I know that you're doing more with less!!

When We were Growing Up the High School Head Football Coach was the Most RESPECTED Man & Leader in the Town.
He was just as or More Valuable than the Mayor & Viewed in Communities like the President especially in 1 & 2 HS Towns (Cities). That admiration & respect trickled so when College Coaches actually came to watch an older guy it was MAJOR. That in return gave young kids HOPE that they would be in those same shoes playing for that Head Coach.
Now everyone is a GURU & believe they know more than Him & The 1st Sign of anything they are ready to remove him from town. That has trickled to entitlement that some take it for granted or just expect that college coaches are supposed to be there when EVERY visit from a College coach is special as Well.

The older I get in this profession, the more I realize that knowing football and knowing how to coach are two different things.
Knowledge doesnโt always translate to impact.
The best coaches know how to reach their players, not just teach them.
Coaches, whatโs something experience taught you that a playbook never could?
Will be a ton of growth on this thread!
