#Patriots rookie LB Erick Hunter (6’2”, 224 lbs) powers down the field to make the tackle as the gunner on the punt team. Hunter is too strong to have his momentum taken from him. He takes his angle and makes the tackle.
4,702 total yards and 53 combined TDs is a monster baseline. The 27 rushing scores stand out just as much as the passing production.
A 6,000-yard, 60-TD résumé after the FCS jump is wild. That’s a real dark horse profile for the award.
Agree. Staying FCS and being the guy every week gets you drafted more than being a backup at the P4 level. Ive seen it play out both ways
Illinois State under seeded is right, that roster was a dark horse the whole back half of the year. MVFC seeding never matches the film
Week 1 FBS tape is the whole eval for these guys. Ive moved more sleepers up off one of those games than a full season of conference film

Jerry Rice Award tape is usually the best sleeper list in FCS. Been high on him since last fall, arm talent plus he moves the pocket instead of bailing
Brungard is the one guy on that field who can turn a bad down into 15 with his legs. FCS QBs dont usually travel well but he does
