Many birds are beginning to build their nests🥚 You can help birds find material for nesting by: 🍂🌾🥀 Leaving yard waste untouched for a few more weeks 🗑Picking up litter, especially stringy materials 🚫 Please DO NOT provide yarn, pet fur, ribbons or human hair

#DidYouKnow Piping Plovers lay their eggs directly on the sand. This nest is a great example of one that's well camouflaged by dried driftwood and rocky cobble...almost impossible to see! All Ontario nests are protected with a fenced buffer zone.

Our smallest falcon, the American Kestrel is commonly seen perched on roadside wires, or hovering above grasslands on rapidly beating wings, waiting to pounce on a grasshopper. Conservation ranching directly supports habitat for this dynamic falcon. Photo: Kristen Mauzy/APA
