This is a really important point -
Whatever the problems (and there are many), the police, AMHPs, psychiatrists and mental health nurses, etc. were working in a SYSTEM.
Those designed, evolved and led the system(s) need to be giving evidence about the structures they created.
The #NottinghamInquiry will hear from so many people
It’s right that the focus should be on the clinical care
But it’s also important to understand the systemic issues
Who were the architects of the systems nationally?
