This is the intersection of amazing online sleuthing and extreme sickos behavior.
I'm 100% here for it.
It turns out that the Nebraska media guide has been garbled since its existence and that the Hewitt brothers, T.J. and I.P., were head coaches during the early years of #Nebrasketball

There are two very distinct ways of applying those three words to where Nebraska sits after seven games: one good, one bad.
Both are completely accurate.

"The truth is that nothing has changed for Nebraska."
I intentionally left that open to your interpretation.
Some will say NU is the same team they've been since 2015 (or earlier).
Others will note that a team widely predicted to go 7-5 is - shockingly - on track to go 7-5.

It's so weird how the outcome seems to dictate the narrative.
Roll Drags!

City champs and STATE champs!
No. 3 Gretna (26-5) takes down No. 1 Gretna East (28-6) for the Dragons’ second Class A title, third overall, and first since 2024.

He had people skills.
He was good at dealing with people.

Congratulations everyone on worrying about the least important thing on the planet to the point where the coach has to say something objectively goofy.

It is admittedly apples and oboes, but watch how Nebraska volleyball plays.
As the No. 1 team, w/ that famous senior class & ginormous expectations, the tension should be unbearable.
And yet, they are loose, smiling, and laughing. They simply exude joy.
It's okay to have fun.
I agree with Dave here.
I understand wanting Nebraska to approach every game with a championship mentality, but when did having fun become a bad thing?
These are college kids playing in an incredibly demanding, high-pressure environment. Sometimes loosening up, dancing, and enjoying the moment is exactly what they need to relax and play their best football.
Playing tight and worrying about every mistake isn't exactly a recipe for success. Let's be serious. If Nebraska wins that game, nobody is complaining about "Shout."
We can demand excellence on the field without demanding that the players act miserable every time they're not winning.
The standard is the standard. But having fun doesn't mean you've lowered it.

I'm not interested in the narrative that NU should not have danced to "Shout" before the 4th quarter.
Michigan was trailing by 3 at this moment (the second ever light show at Memorial).
They won by 3.
A classic case of outcome determining how we feel.
