We are all excited Chelsea wants to buy Alex Scott right? Here's what you don't know. If by the January transfer window we buy only Scott as the midfielder, it doesn't support our problems in the midfield. We have Caicedo with strength and brute, buying Alex Scott is buying a similar profile. He's a willing runner, barely gets tired, box to box, but can he control the play? Can he make passes that breaks low blocks just like Jorginho did alongside Kante? We need to ask these questions before jumping on the band wagon. We need controllers to contain Xabi Alonso's style of play or else, we'll be caught out of possession and leave our shambolic defense exposed to waves and influx of attacks. Look in depth, don't just get amused by a shiny new toy.
