✅ El REINFO termina el 31 de diciembre de 2026, con todo el paraguas de protección legal que ofrece, y a partir del 1 de enero de 2027 comenzamos un nuevo proceso de formalización, más simplificado, para quienes tienen inscripción vigente, anunció el ministro de Energía y Minas, Guillermo Shinno.
✅ En entrevista con @exitosape TV, señaló que ese es el principal alcance del proyecto de ley de la Pequeña Minería y Minería Artesanal, indicando que el formato actual de la formalización minera es muy engorroso, por lo que corresponde simplificarlo para adecuarlo a la realidad, sin reducir los estándares exigidos.
💬"Lo que queremos es acabar con el camuflaje a la minería ilegal. A partir del 1 de enero ya no habrá la protección que daba el REINFO, por tanto, quienes depredan el medio ambiente o extracción ilícita sí podrán ser investigados y penalizados", subrayó.
✅ Shinno se expresó a favor de convocar mayores inversiones en el sector minero, incluyendo las refinerías o fundiciones para dar valor agregado a la producción, y puntualizó que para lograr ello hay que hacer que el Perú sea más competitivo, aprovechando el potencial de nuestra riqueza minera.
