I like the Barcelona team's new approach: good scouting, realistic budget, and a solid project.

🇺🇸 TJ Shorts is back to his Paris level and more efficient than ever.
💯 For me, he is the MVP for October.
In 2024-25 at @ParisBasketball, he carried the offence: 31.9% usage, a league-best 43.3% assist rate and 27.6 points per 40 minutes, but at a below-average 57.8% TS%.
Then a tough year at Panathinaikos: his PER dropped to 16.2, his TS% to 52.2%.
Now at @valenciabasket through EuroLeague Round 7, he scores more per minute (29.5 points per 40) on less usage (29.2%), with his TS% up to 61.9% and 1.09 points per possession, both above the league average.
He’s still a top-3 creator (33.1% AST%) and turns the ball over at the same rate (11.8%).
Impact has grown too: PER 24.8 → 26.4, offensive rating 133.9 → 137.3, and he leads the league in Win Shares per 40 minutes again (0.253 → 0.263).
Biggest jump: Valencia are +21.3 per 100 possessions with Shorts on the court, compared with +8.4 at Paris.
