Surprising to see no feature from @Channel4News on the Serbian elections - or did I miss it?

It's the end of United according to Mark Goldbridge.

And he's leading the team without the armband.
Interesting insight from @davidlynchlfc. Liverpool's new loan signing Ronald Araujo was named club captain at Barcelona in January.

The author won a Nobel Prize for his work, so one could hardly call it “underrated,” but I wish more people would read this book. It tells the story of a single Bosnian village by a river over about four centuries, from Ottoman rule until the onset of World War I, and provides what I think is the best account of what modernization meant for Europe.
what's 20th century's most underrated book?

Bentacur with two fine tackles. Shaw takes offence at being humiliated. How can his shove and aggression be lesser that Bentacur taking the bait? Is a red card in retrospect possible?
Bentacur vs Luke Shaw in case you missed it!

Ukraine has repeatedly agreed to ceasefire agreements, many backed by the U.S., while Russia has refused. Last year alone, Russia rejected 8 ceasefire proposals that Ukraine agreed to. Trump is a disgrace.
Trump: “Zelensky could have settled this war many times. And he chooses not to. He wants to make problems for the world...He better damn well stop.”

A special moment in Prespa. 🇬🇷🇲🇰🇦🇱🇪🇺 Three countries, with EU support, share one ambition: protecting Prespa’s unique natural & cultural heritage and moving towards UNESCO recognition. With an additional €2 million for #EU4Prespa, we are turning ambition into action.

The Tartan Army are famous for their big hearts and friendly fans. As 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 football team faces 🇲🇰 in the UEFA Nations League, Scottish charities Tartan Army Sunshine Appeal and Tartan Army Childrens' Charity showed that spirit by generously supporting local charities and communities in Skopje and Kochani. Chargé d’Affaires Daniel Fieller attended a performance by Roma Rock School in Skopje, celebrating the creativity and talent of young people, while Defence Attaché Lt Col Denise McMahon joined an event supporting FK Fudbal Stars in Kochani. From music and football to supporting vulnerable communities, the Tartan Army is bringing friendship, solidarity and community spirit to 🇲🇰.

Winter is coming. The Balkans are getting ready. 🇷🇸 🇲🇰 🇧🇦 🇭🇷 🇲🇪 🇸🇮 Autumn means sacks of red peppers, blackened skins and big pots of ajvar. This roasted pepper spread is made across the Balkans, especially in Serbia and North Macedonia, with recipes changing between countries and households. Some include eggplant, others use only peppers, with enough chilli to suit whoever’s filling the jars. The peppers are roasted, peeled and ground, then slowly cooked with oil as part of zimnica, the food preserved for winter. That usually means hours at the pot with a wooden paddle, but some cooks now put homemade motorised stirrers to work, like the one in this video. The motor takes over the repetitive stirring while the ajvar cooks down, ready to be jarred and eaten over the colder months with bread, cheese or grilled meat. Video by: @domaca_prica_by_daca
