Gendered Intelligence is telling service providers that they can still allow men into women's services as long as they describe them as "single-gender" instead of "single-sex".
This is known as the "Hampstead Ponds gambit" and it will be tested in court next week.
Sex Matters is going to court on 3rd and 4th of November. The case is about the meaning of a black-and-white sign, and the black-and-white law behind it.

“So why is the government dismissing the women who want this fixed? In my opinion, it is because this has never been about kindness or inclusion or acceptance of the LGBTQ. It is a test. To normalise something that is not normal. To see who will go along with it. See who will pretend a man can be a woman so completely that the law must accommodate him lactating.”

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: “At first, I thought it was a joke - fancy dress. But this is everyday attire. His prosthetic boobs are enormous, exaggerated and cartoonish.”
I spoke to Oxford lecturers and a former student about their experiences of Matt Rattley - the bearded lecturer who wears prosthetic breasts to work and posts pictures on LinkedIn.
They described their discomfort, concerns about sexual harassment and fear of making a formal complaint.
I also obtained three separate written complaints to St Hilda’s, including one from a parent and a joint letter from three former students.
One signatory, leading clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Johnstone, told The Mail on Sunday:
“As a psychologist who has worked with women clients for many years, I do know that in all forms of harassment and abuse, you see denial by the perpetrator, silencing of the victims, and often collusion by institutions.”
The piece also includes comment from @LoudBonnet - the barrister who has represented Sandie Peggie.

The point is not why Rattley became someone who wants to wear false breasts to work. That is a question for his psychiatrist. The point is why Oxford governing body is allowing it. The fear of thwarting the desires of men who feel a need to flaunt their sexual fetish in public is at the root of society’s paralysis here.
The victims of this odious charade are alienated young people who are being confused by men like this and seeking to harm their own bodies.
If ever we needed courageous leadership, it is now.
How does Matt Rattley, a bright young man who read Chemistry at Somerville College, Oxford & became a greatly admired Lecturer at St Hilda’s, @UniofOxford, turn into an autogynephile, a fetishist, who wears a Z cup silicone breastplate to work? One word - PORN. #OxfordUniversity

A tale of two EU conferences:
On Tuesday afternoon, two events will take place in the centre of Brussels' EU district. Both of them are on the topic of women.
One of the conferences will host a panel of women who have been punished materially, socially, professionally, or otherwise, for insisting that women are real, that we are adult human and female, and that that definition matters for any law or policy that claims to protect or advance our interests.
One of the central themes discussed on the panel will be the treatment doled out to these individual women who have refused to abandon this material definition of womanhood. Court cases, physical violence, social exclusion, threats... you name it, we've been on the receiving end of it.
Another topic for the panel to discuss is a much wider and arguably worse: the steadfast refusal of the people in the same Brussels EU district -- from the media, to elected MEPs, to EU Commission officials - to acknowledge the role that they have played in these panellists' being treated this way, and their role in the erasure of sex as a coherent and important factor in the organisation of society.
For at least a decade, the powers-that-be in Brussels have pretended not to notice the erasure of sex in law, all while they have been themselves been advancing and promoting it. Exceptions, of course, come from traditionally right-wing parties (with some particularly relentless championnes, in the form of @MargaPisa @LaurenceTrochu @Barbarabonte and some notable others).
Athena Forum founder Faika El-Nagashi has told me that she thinks most EU officials (elected or otherwise) are not aware of the issue, as opposed to pretending not to be aware. I think she is far too charitable.
I myself had my employment contract terminated by EU officials because my insistence on the material definition of woman. I wrote on the European Commission internal message board about the danger (and stupidity) of pretending women and girls are not a definable phenomenon all while purporting to have a raft of policies and laws that are "for" us. A recent FOI request revealed that the Commission officials considered my views on material reality of sex to be contrary to EU values.
Which brings me to conference number two that will take place on Tuesday.
The other conference is about women as an idealised set of stereotypes that can be adopted or discarded at will, a concept that is open to ownership by any man who enjoys being seen by others as a woman - which a lot of men apparently do (usually as part of a distressing and all-consuming sexual paraphilia).
I had assumed, in my naivety, that once people in power heard the message that it harms women and girls - especially if you come from a lower class background, which I do - to pretend sex isn't real and doesn't matter, that they would do what was necessary to roll back the damage. I thought that once I presented the evidence that most men who claim to be women are motivated by sexual arousal, that politicians would find the courage stop causing more damage.
I was very, very wrong.
And those are the people who will be attending this other conference on Tuesday, the "gender" conference, which will kick of "Gender equality week" in the European Parliament. There's no point in attending, because we know exactly what they will say. Empower, glass ceiling, leadership. They will not mention sex, or Athena Forum, or the punished women on the panel *just down the street* (no Parliament invitation was offered to Athena Forum for this, the week of celebrating "gender" equality", which I think tells you everything you need to know.)
As it happens, the woman-is-a-feeling gender event finishes right at the moment that the @AthenaForumEU event begins (6.30PM). Take of that symbolism what you will.
I will be at the women's conference, and I will be tweeting it minute-by-minute. I hope to get some video interviews with some of the (truly courageous) women who will be there.

This is not legitimate ‘self-expression’, it’s a male power-play designed to embarrass & humiliate women. That is clear as day.
The fact that the @UniofOxford and its Chancellor @WilliamJHague apparently can neither see that nor stop it is puzzling and extremely disappointing.

This story is about more than EDI - it's about whether we can trust publicly-funded institutions to behave with integrity when difficult issues are raised - or whether they'll choose to retaliate against whistleblowers. It's also about the failure by multiple elite UK institutions covering academia, journals, publishers and the BBC to do basic checks on highly dubious claims; instead they decided to nod along with improbable tales that defy logic or physical reality

Helen Joyce will be in the EU district in Brussels on Tuesday for a conference to discuss this and other topics related to transgender ideology in law. See Athena Forum for more information.
I’m looking forward to finding out if the Brussels media will ignore her like the Irish media have ignored her.
The ignoring is not a sustainable strategy but it’s all they’ve got. There were high hopes when Euractiv/@rapporteur_news came under new management a couple of years ago that finally a Brussels journalist would be brave enough to address the implications of erasing sex in law (something that is very much happening at EU level). But then they hired a transvestite and a suite of woke Gen Z staff and that possibility got wiped off the table (@Mediahuis_BE innit).
So the ignoring will continue.
I’ll be live tweeting the Tuesday event, tune in here from 6PM.

If “bringing your whole self to work” involves strapping on enormous, fake, ‘comedy’ breasts, a strap-on cock & balls or two silicone buttocks outside your trousers, might I suggest you don’t?
Your freedom to “express yourself” does not supersede a student’s right to a serious & focused education, especially if you object, YOU become “a bigot”.
Absolutely absurd situation.
