One of the most amazing moments ever caught on film!!! In 2002, during Big Brother Brasil 2, contestant Cida Moraes was sunbathing alone on the lawn of the house. She suddenly heard a voice calling her name (“Cida? Cida?”). She sat up, looked around, and asked who was calling, saying it sounded like her sister. No one else heard it. Cida did not know that her sister, Gloria Moraes had died that same day from breast cancer. Because of the show’s isolation rules, Cida was cut off from outside news and did t even know her sister was in the ICU. Production informed her later that evening in the diary room/confessionário. Host Pedro Bial later stated that the moment Cida heard the voice was roughly 45 minutes after Gloria’s death. Cida was disoriented and emotional when she learned the news.

This might be the greatest video on the internet 🥺 Detroit Lions star Aidan Hutchinson put on a Spider-Man mask and surprised four-year-old Connor who received his last dose of chemotherapy (🎥: @MottChildren)

Today was a hard day as we laid my wife’s mom, Lorraine, to rest. We took comfort in having friends and family attend, and Jill and I were so happy to have Dani and Jess join us. To get our minds off of things, the entire family joined in for the Dolphins Cancer Challenge Heavy Hitters event last night. Spending time with the girls was so wonderful!

You never saw Jason without 2 things…. His tie and his radiant smile. He touched so many lives, including mine. He has been missed!!!
Thinking about Jason Jenkins today. Hard to believe it’s been four years. Jason was a friend, mentor, and true leader in the South Florida community who made a lasting impact on so many lives. His kindness, generosity, and legacy will never be forgotten.

Today marks 6 months since I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cholangiocarcinoma Cancer. The UPenn doctors gave me approximately 12 months to live. Halfway there, I’m continuing the fight and enjoying life! I plan on sticking around a while!! #GetBusyLiving

My mother is the beautiful, shoeless girl in Ireland about five years old. Her father, my grandfather who I never met, is on his deathbed. He worked the railroads in Clare, had a bad accident, and died from his injuries. My mother was one of seven children my grandmother brought over the ocean to Chicago after her husband died about 1925. They all worked...bus drivers, movers, garbage men...including my grandmother who worked the "steam tables" at downtown Carson's. Eventually, they all became citizens. My mother told me she got her first pair of shoes when she was ten, but a mean uncle kept one and she never got to wear them. She followed the path of most women of her day with limited resources and education (she never finished high school) and became a wife and mother. She was a good mother, loved her children, and always put them first despite enduring many hardships. She died young when I was in my twenties. After an Irish two-day, open casket wake, my sister said something I will never forget: "We will never know who she was." Story Credits: Barbara Ellis

Ireland has the highest household electricity prices in the European Union, according to new research from statistical agency Eurostat. At 40.42 cent per kilowatt-hour, prices here are almost 40% above the EU average. jrnl.ie/7031945

To everyone who has been inspired to go to church, but “doesn’t know the rules”: Just go! Don’t worry about not knowing. Your presence, your time, your willingness to sit and listen to God’s word is more than enough. God loves you. You are welcome in his home.

Not what I wanted to write, the pneumonia was too much to fight. If you get any symptoms of bowel cancer go to your GP ASAP. Goodbye 😜
