MIHIN ja MITEN me käytämme lahjoitusvarat? 🚨 URGENT APPEAL FOR FINANCIAL SUPPORT 🇺🇦🚴‍♂️ Eight months of determination, sacrifice, and refusing to give up. Today, I’m facing one of the hardest challenges of this journey — not the mountains, not the weather, not the thousands of kilometers, but finding the financial means to keep going. I have come too far to stop now. But without urgent financial support, the future of this journey is at risk. I am reaching out to you because I cannot continue this mission alone. For eight months, I have been traveling the world by bicycle for peace in Ukraine. This journey is entirely self-supported. I have no sponsors, no financial backing, and I urgently need your help to keep going. Unfortunately, I am unable to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But that does not mean I cannot fight for my country in my own way. This journey is my way of standing up for Ukraine, raising international awareness, bringing global attention and support to my country, and reminding the world that Ukraine must never be forgotten. Through my partnership with UNITED24, I am also working to raise funds for critically needed ambulances in Ukraine, helping save lives where every second matters. This is what I can do for my country. This is what I have chosen to do. And I refuse to give up. Traveling through Scandinavia has drained my limited funds, and in just a few days, I will be heading to the Middle East to continue my mission. I’m asking for your support at a critical moment. If you’ve followed my journey, shared my story, or believed in what I’m doing, I’m asking you today to help me take the next step. I have given everything I can to this mission, and even the smallest contribution can help me continue. Even the price of a single cup of coffee can make a difference. If enough people contribute just a little, together we can make a huge impact and keep this journey alive. 🙏 If you can help, please consider donating through the Buy Me a Coffee link in my bio. These contributions go directly toward keeping me on the road, covering essential travel expenses, and allowing me to continue raising international awareness and support for Ukraine. My fundraising for ambulances in Ukraine is a separate effort through UNITED24. By supporting my journey, you are helping me continue that important mission. If you’re unable to donate, PLEASE REPOST this message. Your share could reach someone who can help. Every repost matters. Eight months on the road. Thousands of kilometers. One mission: Peace in Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Never give up, never surrender, keep pushing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

A few days ago, Russia killed 53 people by dropping glide bombs on an underground shelter in Komyshuvakha, Ukraine, where civilians were hiding. Dozens are still missing. And somehow, people are outraged that russian hockey players are banned from competing in Canada. Thank you, Canada!

Kysymys kuuluu nyt, kuka suomalainen jääkiekkoilija uskaltaa ensimmäisenä sanoa julkisesti: "En osallistu MM-kisoihin, jos Venäjä on mukana." Suomen Jääkiekkoliitto ilmoitti tänään 30.10.2026, ettei se boikotoi turnauksia, mutta jokainen pelaaja saa itse päättää osallistumisestaan. Ensimmäisenä kantaa ottava Leijonien pelaaja on sankari. Kysymys onkin, miksi pelaajilta odotetaan sellaista rohkeutta, jota liitto ei itse osoita päätöksellään. leijonat.fi/uutiset/suomen-j…

Russia has just murdered at least 13 people as they waited on a train platform, targeting the group with a jet drone in the city of Dnipro. Open genocide, now backed by the White House and the owner of this platform.

As much as I want to see those poor people freed from the russian genocidal hell in Oleshky, everyone needs to understand that anything russia does serves a clear purpose, and @ZarinaZabrisky explains it profoundly. putin is war criminal, not humanitarian theatlantic.com/internationa…

The speed limits on Starlink and Starshield are still there. The speed has not been restored. And the delivery of interceptors to protect us against Russian ballistic missiles is still delayed. We’re waiting for interceptors that were already agreed on. But they are still not coming. This is a real problem, because the Russians attack us almost every single day. All of this is happening while we continue our quite successful operations on the front. We keep defending positions. Things have become harder – partly because of the Starlink and Starshield policies and speed limits. But our frontline is still holding and I am proud of how strong our people are. It’s horrific! Footage has been released online showing a Russian ballistic missile—equipped with a cluster munition warhead—striking Kyiv last night. The Russians are using banned cluster munitions with the intent to kill as many civilians as possible.

Trump has decided to hold me—rather than Putin—responsible for all the problems. He claims to his supporters that diesel prices in America are rising because of us, — Zelenskyy. I find it wrong and unacceptable that Trump blames me for Russian aggression and the crimes committed by Russia. He is distorting the context, and that is unfair. In my view, this is merely an attempt to divert attention from the situation in Iran and events in the Middle East. The Strait of Hormuz is blocked—that is the true core of the problem. Yet, all of this is being pinned on us, and I, as head of state, am being made a target.

With Trump's removal of Starlink, Russians are now hunting cars full of people in Kyiv, using jet drones for which Ukraine's interceptors no longer function to stop. Three people murdered an hour ago in southern Kyiv, with six others injured, three of which are children.

Tämän lapsen nimi on Angelina. Hänen kasvonsa on peitetty, koska hän on kuollut. Hän on kuollut, koska venäläiset murhasivat hänet suihkumoottoridroonilla. Suihkumoottoridroonit osuvat nyt kohteisiinsa amerikkalaisten avustuksella: he rajoittavat torjuntadroonien nopeutta.

🚨Kansalaisaloite on julkaistu! kansalaisaloite.fi/fi/aloite… Venäläisomisteinen yhtiö tahkoaa Harjavallassa rahaa venäjän sotakassaan ja lähettää prosessin sivutuotteena syntyvän kuparisakan takaisin venäjälle. Jos tämä ei sinusta ole oikein - allekirjoita! Kupari on sotateollisuuden olennainen raaka-aine, jota käytetään ammuksissa, tutkissa ja muissa sähköjärjestelmissä, sota-aluksissa, raskaassa kalustossa ja ilma-aluksissa. Kuparisakka puolestaan jalostetaan venäjällä puhtaaksi kupariksi. Emme voi jäljittää yksittäistä kuparierää venäjällä, joten koko kauppa on kiellettävä. NICKEL22 update, 10 October 2026 Recent developments EU ambassadors agreed the 22nd sanctions package on 7 October, and foreign ministers are due to adopt it formally on 12 October. Reports say it adds a record 1,646 people and companies to the sanctions list but brings no major new trade bans. If so, that makes 22 packages in a row that leave Russian nickel matte (CN 7501) and unwrought nickel (CN 7502) untouched. These are the products used by the refinery in Harjavalta, which Nornickel owns outright. About 94% of the refinery’s raw material comes from Nornickel’s mines in Russia. Finland imported about 90,000 tonnes of Russian nickel and nickel products in 2025, roughly the pre-war level. Once refined, the metal counts as Finnish, so it can be sold even in the US and UK, which banned Russian nickel in 2024. Nornickel’s owner Vladimir Potanin is sanctioned by the US, UK, Canada and Australia but not by the EU, although Ukraine asked the EU to list him in September. We will only know whether he is on the new list when it is published. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian community in Finland has kept up the pressure with a demonstration in Helsinki on 15 September, organized together with Feeniksin Kilta, and weekly pickets since. The written question On 8 October, the leaders of the Finnish Parliament’s Ukraine group put a written question to the government. They are Oras Tynkkynen (Greens), Aleksi Jäntti (National Coalition Party) and Mikko Savola (Centre Party). They ask five things: - whether Finland has proposed or supported an EU ban on these two products; - why Russian copper matte and nickel ore are banned but nickel matte is not; - whether Finland backs Ukraine’s call to sanction Potanin; - whether the government has looked into a national import ban; - what it will do to get the refinery into Finnish ownership, or the ownership of a company from another democracy, while protecting jobs. The minister must reply within 21 days. The written question was prepared by the nikkeli.eu -team and published almost word-to-word in the form that we proposed. The citizens’ initiative Our citizens’ initiative, “Russian nickel imports and refining in Finland must end”, was published on 9 October at kansalaisaloite.fi/fi/aloite… The ban: it calls for a national law, on public security grounds, banning the import, refining and use in Finland of Russian nickel matte and unwrought nickel, whichever country they come through. The ban would last until the EU adopts a similar ban. - The EU track: it also asks Parliament to require the government to push for that EU ban. - Legal basis: EU import rules leave room for national bans on public security grounds. Latvia used this route in 2024 to ban Russian and Belarusian farm and feed products. - Workers: the ban would take effect six months after the law passes. The refinery’s roughly 270 workers would get state support for retraining and finding new work. - Copper: the ban would also permanently end the refinery’s shipments of copper-rich by-product to Russia. That by-product made up most of the €1.33 billion of copper Finland exported to Russia between 2022 and 2025. The shipments paused this spring only because the EU sanctioned Murmansk port, and the company is looking for another port. Signing opens on 14 October. We need 50,000 signatures from Finnish citizens aged 18 or over within six months, so that the Parliament elected in April 2027 can decide on it. Support from MPs. The written question is backed by MPs from the Prime Minister’s own National Coalition Party and from two opposition parties. That shows concern over Russian nickel now crosses party lines in Finland. What you can do - If you are a Finnish citizen aged 18 or over, in Finland or abroad, sign the initiative from 14 October at kansalaisaloite.fi/fi/aloite…. Ask your friends and family to sign too. - Write to a Finnish MP or your MEP with our letter tool at nikkeli.eu/write-a-letter.ht…. Use your own words. Ask them to back the initiative and to push for nickel matte, unwrought nickel and Vladimir Potanin to be included in the EU’s next sanctions package. - Forward any replies to [email protected] so we can add them to the count on nikkeli.eu. NICKEL22 is a volunteer campaign backed by Feeniksin Kilta and Ukrainalaisten yhdistys Suomessa. nikkeli.eu
