With every day Chris Grier is still employed , Ross’ personal driver should park an extra foot away from his private jet with each visit

NEW: Time to blow up this debacle of a franchise.

And time for Dolphins owner Steve Ross to stop neglecting his franchise and show he actually cares as much about his team as he does about real estate and rebuilding West Palm Beach.

Day 8 of calling for Chris Grier’s job as GM of the Miami Dolphins #PhinsUp #FireChrisGrier
Truthfully it doesn't matter who we trade. This team is going nowhere. I just don't want Grier making these moves to further fuck up our roster construction. – at Palm Beach, FL

“Chris Grier has been with the Dolphins since 2000”
“Yep”
“The Dolphins haven’t won a playoff game since 2000”
“Correct”
“And the 2025 Miami Dolphins are 1-5 this year”
“Affirmative”
“And Chris Grier still has a job”
“Yes sir”
Is there anyone this roster you wouldn't trade away or cut after this season?
I'm having a hard time coming up with a list of keepers on this team. I really can only think that Patrick Paul, Achane, maybe Waddle on offense.
On Defense...I really can't think of any untouchables.
Year after year of having obvious holes that inevitably blow up on us when the season starts, and always being a year too late to plug them when other holes pop up elsewhere. Trading away picks/trading up for guys who aren't performing, or aren't here anymore, or are now overpaid
Same with Jonah Savaiinaea on the OL. Our secondary is hot garbage. None of our LBs stand out.
This team's roster construction is a complete mess and it's all on Grier. McDaniel and Weaver are probably not the answer but Grier is who put this roster together.
Chop maybe? He's shown potential last year but he's definitely in a sophomore slump this year. Seiler is already in his 30s and seems to have regressed. Phillips and Chubb are damaged goods. Grant is the worst DT in the league this year, not a good sign for a rookie.

The defense and roster construction are the primary reasons we are where we are. Tua would need to be consistently elite to overcome the stinky D and all of the personnel mistakes. He's very good at times, mediocre at others but not elite. It seems simple enough.
