most roblox games don’t die because the idea was bad
they die because after like 20 minutes there’s nothing left that makes you want to come back
a lot of devs focus way too much on getting players in the game
thumbnails, ads, first impressions, all of that
but very few actually design for what happens after that first session
what’s pulling the player back tomorrow
what are they working towards
what feels like it’s worth returning for
attention is easy to get on roblox if your game looks decent
retention is what actually decides everything
it’s the difference between a game that spikes and a game that lasts
